I play these Mosaics/Griddlers/Nonograms games for the puzzles -- and only for the puzzles. So for me, anything that gets in the way of the puzzles is bad. Fantasy Mosaics is still the series that does the best job letting me play the puzzles without blocking my view with distracting popups and scores while I'm trying to solve the puzzles. I play these Mosaics/Griddlers/Nonograms games for the puzzles -- and only for the puzzles. So for me, anything that gets in the way of the puzzles is bad. Fantasy Mosaics is still the series that does the best job letting me play the puzzles without blocking my view with distracting popups and scores while I'm trying to solve the puzzles. It also has an easy to navigate interface without a lot of mystery options. And the puzzles themselves can be solved by logic, usually by counting the numbers, though sometimes it's faster to recognize where a color will go by the pattern. Show less

What a wonderful Monday surprise! A BIG THANK you to BFG for offering a game in one of my favorite genres. This is another excellent 5-star game from Match Gems. have played every game in the series and this game is designed exactly like the others.

I LOVE these games and Match Gems is one of the BEST developers for this type of game. This puzzle has many different names (AKA O’Ekaki, Griddlers, Paint-by-Numbers, Pic-a-Pix, Nonograms or whatever you call them); however, no matter the name, they are a fun puzzle game.

HOW TO PLAY: This is variety of a Sudoku puzzle. In this puzzle, create pictures by filling in squares in a grid. The grids in this game will vary in size. Each side of the grid will have numbers for each line of squares indicating the number of squares which are to be filled in for that row of squares. Squares are filled in where the squares intersect between the two sets of numbers on each side.

GAME FACTS:

• Levels: Casual and Advanced.
• Colors: The game has up to six colored screens which can be switched at any time while playing the puzzle.
• Autofill: There is autofill so you do not have to fill in the unused boxes. However, you can use your mouse to right click “X’s” for unused spaces.
• Hints: Hints are given as you proceed and are based on the difficulty of the puzzle and how well you perform in solving the grid
• Number of Levels and Puzzles: There are 100 puzzles – 20 levels with 5 puzzles per level in the game.
• Aids: You have a pickax as an aid in the game
• Awards: There are 3 trophies: a gold trophy for no mistakes, a silver trophy for 1 mistake, and a bronze trophy for two mistakes. If you make 3 mistakes, you must start the game over again.
• Collectibles. When you complete one level of 5 puzzles, you receive decorations for the wedding.

I highly recommend this game if you like Sudoku games or any type of mathematical puzzle. Show less

Wedding Bells are about to ring, Uncle Aaron and Lady Una are about to tie the knot. Mr. Penguin is so happy for them, he's now a Pengrin! They need help decorating for the ceremony, which surely will be a formal Black and White occasion. (whats black and white, black and white, black and white? A penguin in a revolving door, OR falling down the stairs) What's on the menu? It's a toss up between Ice burgers and brrrrrritos, but there's definitely going to be an open bar with plenty of drinks on the rocks. The music? Everyone knows penguins only like sole! Join me folks, in singing Freeze a Jolly good fellow!

The Penguins have returned in Fantasy Mosaics 25 with 6 colorful bubbles to work with. You can switch between the color bubbles to help you solve these colorful griddlers, and you can earn a Gold trophy if you make no mistakes, a Silver trophy if you make one mistake and a Bronze trophy if you make two mistakes. You will also earn up to three gold Stars if you don't use any hints, one star is deducted each time you use a hint. Therefore, it is possible to make a mistake or two but still earn 3 stars as long as you don't use any available hints.

This is a griddler or mosaic type puzzle game (japanese crossword) where you fill in and cross off cells on various sized grids, using logic, so you'll never have to guess. (unlike some griddler games) They aren't easy puzzles to solve at times, but I love the challenge. If you are new to mosaic games, I suggest trying one of the earlier versions of Fantasy Mosaics, but the first 4 FM were only single color grids, and 6 colors weren't introduced until FM 16.

There are groups of numbers located on each column and row of the grid, each group of numbers must be separated by at least one blank or crossed off cell. Sometimes it's easier to figure out where numbers can't possibly fit to reduce the amount of cells and narrow the playing field down a bit. Some cells contain bonuses such as extra hints, extra mistakes allowed or an extra pickax which allows you to choose which cell you want a hint on. There is a Sun icon as well that when fully charged, will give you a mega hint, filling in or crossing off a 3x3 area of your choice.

The one feature that makes Fantasy Mosaics stand out from the rest of the griddler games, is the vibrant array of colors available. In this version, I think the pictures are always interesting, and I really love the way the colors pop. It can also help you solve the puzzle when you get stuck, because you can switch to another color which ultimately narrows down the available cells. Unlike many griddler games, these pictures actually make sense, because they have six different colors you know what image you have just created.

This is one of my favorite Mosaic Griddler series and is one of the best mosaic griddlers available, and certainly one of the most colorful. However, after playing some pretty unusual Mosaic games lately that have stepped outside the box with super creative features such as shape options and swapping options, I have decided to only give FM 25 only 4 stars. My hope is that these devs will realize that they are going to have to step up to the plate, and add different features moving forward, otherwise FM will become no different than all the other Mosaic games available nowadays! This is still a must have game for griddler geeks, but FM may become just another grid game if they're not willing to take chances, because other than different colors being added, nothing has really changed in the last 10 games offered.Enjoy! I have bought every Fantasy Mosaics as soon as it comes out. I only gave it a four because I think they need to step up the game a bit. Maybe give the player choices on what to decorate with? Maybe a way to earn gold and buy decorations? So many games offer choices now to build scenes with that I think Fantasy Mosaics might become stale if they don't up the game a bit. I have purchased about 10 of these games, I like them so much. Only one complaint is there is quite a bit of repetition when it comes to dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. Granted the pictures in each of the games are varied, but there are just too many of these same animals. With the huge variety in the animal kingdom, I don't understand it.

I recommend this game!

OMG it's the same game play over and over for the 25th time! There are no incentives to get a perfect score. No achievements, no buying things. The game mechanics, the music and even the silly instructions remain the same. Graphics are still flat and unappealing and the story line is once again non-existent.

I don't recommend this game.
