When I say I recommend this game, I mean that I recommend it for pure hidden object fans. That is what this game is: hidden object, nothing else. When I say I recommend this game, I mean that I recommend it for pure hidden object fans. That is what this game is: hidden object, nothing else. There are different ways of showing the hidden objects you are commissioned to find: words, pictures and silhouettes. One thing I love is that you can zoom in to the scene to find those objects that are a little harder to find. The scenes repeat, but this allows you to master a scene and find objects faster and faster. Of course, when a scene repeats some or all of the objects you need to find will be different, but all the objects in the scene (those you need to find this round and those that might be in a different round) are always in the same place. In my opinion, this is a good zoning out game for relaxing in front of the TV. Show less

This game is for someone who likes pure HOG. It is somewhat difficult to find the object in the beginning, but since same scene repeats several times, you get to remember the object locations after some time and the game gets easier later on.

I personally like relaxing game that has nice scenery and a good music, so I like this game.

I recommend this game!

Music was really annoying, thank goodness we can turn it off, very repetitive.
The hidden objects were hard to see a lot of the time, but you can zoom in quite close so I liked that feature, I wish other hidden object games would do that.

There is also a penalty for clicking wrong, you lose $50 off your score, and when you find an object you get $100 per object, not sure what the money is for though.

All in all, not a bad game, maybe if I couldn't find another game for free I would use one of my free game coupons for it, but otherwise no I wouldn't pay for this one. Show less

For a budget type HO game this is OK Towards the end, the scenes were easier as my mind must have registered where the objects were from scenes done before. This might have been more challenging with a bigger variety of scenes but the story line was all but non existent. You learn to mistrust the dwarf almost from the beginning as he was portrayed as very sly.

I recommend this game!

IMO only I didn't like it at all and the few levels I played were dull and grainy.

The levels are timed although you are able to finish it, but you won't get any extra points for it.

You can zoom in to a section of the screen but on my screen it was blurry, or maybe I need new glasses!

The pop-up boxes that tells the story are numerous but easy to get rid of by just clicking anywhere on your ...Show more

This is a throw-back to the earliest HOP games. Each HOP is preceded by one of two characters telling you to look for the list of objects. The list might be in the form of pictures, shadows, or names of objects.
The items are in an array of styles, some looking like photos, others like faded representations of themselves. There is a zoom function, helpful when some of the items are fuzzy and in the background of a scene.
There are no mini-games or puzzles. The music is easily turned off. There are only the static scenes, alternating between a picture of a character with a bit of dialogue and the next HOP. The objects used and the background scenes are repeated. The second time you return to an earlier HOP, you'll be looking for some of the same items as you found the first time, and some will be on the list the third and fourth times too. And some of those items will be used again in other scenes.
Think of this like a grade school cut and paste project stuck in the Xerox machine.
Even for those who like a basic simple HOP, this is still a bit too old school.
Please try the demo. I stuck it out for forty minutes and a lot of yawns. You may find more here than I saw. Show less

I felt that all the colors blended too much together and it was really hard to locate any of the items you were looking for. I did like the story it was nice.

My dreams certainly have a lot going on, and a lot of junk to sift through, so I'm thinking the sooner we get this thing started, the sooner I can wake up.

This is a very outdated type of Hidden Object Game, similar to the original HdO where you click, scroll to zoom in and out, and drag the scene around to find Listed items or Pictured items, which can also be scrolled through. When a HOG game requires this particular style, you can count on the fact that items are going to be small, and not very distinguishable, and that's exactly the case here. The graphics aren't very detailed, and each scene tends to be of one hue, such as searching for bluish items in a bluish scene or gold items in a golden hue scene.

You can use the Hint system if you can't find items, but the hints are limited, and starts out with 5 hints. I'm not sure how you get more hints, but to be honest, I didn't have to use the hint (other than the one required to get through the automatic tutorial) This is a Timed game, but only from the standpoint that you are scored and receive more points for time remaining. They repeat HO scenes in the same locations, another feature I hate, and with only 16 different locations, there's either going to be a lot of repeated scenes or this will be a very short game!

Although I prefer a game with something other than HO scenes,at least a mini game or puzzle now and then, I'm not completely opposed to them. Unfortunately this game is dreadful, and there are plenty of good, if not great, HOG's available. This is a definite no for me, even with a coupon code, and I strongly recommend that you play the demo before buying this antique! Show less
