I love Clearit games! I have played versions 1 and 2 many multiple times. I am so impressed at how the makers keep coming up with new challenges. I like to play games while I listen to audio books and this game is perfect.

I recommend this game!

One of my favorites - great challenge - you can play slowly or just try to see how fast you can play - all in all a most enjoyable game with thinking but not too much !

I've played through all of both Quadrium and Quadrium II, and demoed ClearIt 2 before trying this demo.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the 3 game variations, and also that there are *3* layers of balls visible along the sides; rather than 2, like the other games. The Arcade mode scrolls upward, but doesn't end or keep track of pieces that scroll on past the gameplay area. The Expert mode has ...Show more

I've played through all of both Quadrium and Quadrium II, and demoed ClearIt 2 before trying this demo.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the 3 game variations, and also that there are *3* layers of balls visible along the sides; rather than 2, like the other games. The Arcade mode scrolls upward, but doesn't end or keep track of pieces that scroll on past the gameplay area. The Expert mode has more colors in it.

I also saw some different power-ups - some that allow you to delete 1 or 5 game pieces *of your choice* from off the board.

As to the graphics, the game pieces are squarish in this one, which seems a bit of an improvement in style. I find the ClearIt series sounds and music quality to be pretty bad, and this one is the same. It's for that reason, I'm not sure about buying it myself - I really do like a nice sound environment with my games.

Is it fun? I think you'll have to try it for yourself :-). Show less

I have the first 2 ClearIt games and I just recently purchased Quadrium 2 which has been a really fun and challenging game. After playing several levels in this demo I have come to the conclusion that this particular edition just isn't that impressive. They are basically the same kind of game but the colors aren't as vibrant and it doesn't have a great fun factor. I also found this game to be slow and the mechanics slow to respond. It does have 150 Levels and a separate Arcade style and Expert feature so it definitely has a good replay value.

There's no timer or limited moves, so you take all the time in the world, to clear the balls, which make this type of game very relaxing. The gameplay itself is simple, but the game itself isn't so simple to master. There are unlimited colored balls located on all four sides of the board, all you need to do, is select and click on a ball, which will travel in a straight line until it hits another ball (or power-up) If the selected ball hits a ball on the board that is the same color, they will both be destroyed. Using a little bit of strategy, however, allows you to destroy several balls in a single move.

Each level usually has special balls that contain power-ups that morph, and when hit with a ball it activates the power-up. There are Rainbow balls that add more balls to the field, Stars that eliminate several balls, Lightning that eliminates nearby balls, Exclamations that eliminates all balls of the same color, and 1 or 5 numbers that eliminate 1 or 5 boxes.

Each level is slightly more difficult than the previous level, as more colors are added, there's less of a chance of getting the necessary colored balls on the edges. Sometimes you just have to sacrifice a few balls, by adding more to the equation, just to get to the colored balls you need, but there's no scoring so it doesn't count against you.

coincidentally, I just finished replaying quadrium and saw this pop up so thought, cool! Another take. Unfortunately, it's basically the same game with different graphics.

I don't recommend this game.

Your first notice that the things are square, not round as in previous games. Ok, I can deal with that but......the pieces don't move as fast and this is a real problem. You find yourself with a small wait. And the red is too red, rather glaring. I've bought the previous games, played this one 20 mins and said no more. FYI...there is something new they've added, which is great but I can't get past ...Show more
