This series rates amongst my top favourites. Its been a long time since we had a new game. Having said that, its not really that much of a new game. It is VERY similar to the others in the series, but I consider this one also VERY similar to another old favourite..(I feel like I am playing Royal Envoy in another set of clothing lol) There are even treasure chests!

This series rates amongst my top favourites. Its been a long time since we had a new game. Having said that, its not really that much of a new game. It is VERY similar to the others in the series, but I consider this one also VERY similar to another old favourite..(I feel like I am playing Royal Envoy in another set of clothing lol) There are even treasure chests!
Its has a conservation/environmental theme.

Its a standard build, reap rent, and meet the goals TM. It has a relaxed and a timed mode. You wont however find a timer bar..you are given a certain amount of days to get your jobs done and get gold, silver etc stars if you meet the amount of days you were allocated. Its a bit disconcerting at times not having a bar, but you get used to about how long a day is and how much time you actually have.

You will build and upgrade tents, houses, hire workers, make gardens, decorative plants, manafacture tools and (seeds for the gardens) as well as build recreational and food sites. You often have to meet a goal of reaching a daily income as well as perhaps a specified amount in hand at the end of the level.

Its a bit old school but beautifully animated, a decent but achievable level of challenge and absolutely a lot of fun to play. Try the demo, but I am smiling. I love it. Show less

One of my all time favorite TM/Strategy game. Not just collect and build but decide what buildings you need to accomplish the tasks at hand. As you move on you get new type of buildings and you need to find the right combination to get the Gold!. Strategy guide is very good if you get stuck but I like to try to finish gold w/o peeking, but have resorted to a hint or two. Overall a very enjoyable ...Show more

This TM is awesome ! I've play the previous ones and they are all great. The strategy is excellent and expert will love this kind of challenge. The graphs are well done and the characters suit well this type of game. New elements are add in the game progressively and keep the story and the gameplay interesting. Music and sounds are good and not annoying.

I had almost given up on this game producing a third in the series. What a nice surprise to see they haven't given up on Campgrounds. It's one of my favorite games and this doesn't disappoint. Only got to the sixth campground and had to stop and buy it. Plus today is two for one.

I recommend this game!

I just adore the Campgrounds series because it's a bit different from typical resource management TMs. The focus isn't so much on building as it is on making money (boosting your daily income) and you are given a set number of days in which to accomplish this goal (this is what your 1st, 2nd 3rd place is based on - instead of a timer, you see days pass). If you haven't played one of the Campgrounds before, I suggest you start with the first one, where you'll learn how it all began (and since there is a bogo - what a great day to buy two, huh?) Now, since I'm familiar with the series, I purchased this without playing, so I'm hoping it lives up to it's previous offerings and hasn't got too easy. I've only played a few levels and so far have noticed a nail mill, which is new.

Anyhow, typically, the game involves strategy (how to make the different campgrounds earn the income they need.) You may have to build a combination of tents, cabins, etc, flower beds, statues, trees, parking lots, ice cream concessions, tennis courts, all sorts of buildings, in order to reach the goals. I may need to write another review if this one differs drastically, but from what I've seen so far, it's solid. Show less

Heck yea! If you like TM games this fits the bill. I bought the previous games in the series and think this is the best one yet. The level of challenge is perfect. There are creative variations of game play in the different levels. Not repetitive like some games. The graphics are solid. The games runs smoothly. It's all good. I recommend this game. I hope they make more.

I loved the first two. this one was just as much fun. I would only say that it could have been longer. The Collector's edition has the bonus levels but the regular game only took me two days of off and on playing to finish.

Lots of fun. Can see playing it again in the future.

Game is good as all others before.

BUT, it is not uptodate to have the possibility to shoot an elephant or chimpanse or bear (or any other animal)!

This is not funny, the reality is not a game!

For me this is a no-go, even in a game.
