My first impression didn't do this game justice, it is really very creative; the various creatures, the spaceship randomly picking up wildlife, the way the owl and binocular guy looks right at you, the cute way the "kidnapped" put their heads down when their help signs don't work right away, etc. One of the main reasons I like the Roads of Rome and Northern Tales games is the creativity and ...Show more

Again, because I always play in Relax so I can appreciate these things, I play to beat my score and this one doesn't give a score on Relax (please allow that on the next one I hope you do). Great game developers. Show less

I love these games! I bought the Collectors version and will play this one just for fun. It's a fun, strategic , time management game with cute graphics. There is an option to find a few items in each scene but not finding them won't hurt your "score". I did the free trial on this and as soon as my trial was over I was buying the game! LOTS of fun! Challenging without being too difficult! And finding the 4 little treasures hidden in each scene is proving to be a challenge too! Sometimes I get them all and sometimes I don't!

I played the CE of this game. These games are fun, nice and challenging. You really need to figure out your gameplan to get the three stars, some levels are difficult to get them. Love the whole series, after playing this one I also went back to the Northern Tale games. If you like the strategy/timemanagement games this is for you!!

I've played several other Roads of Rome games and enjoy them very much. The Portals edition will be another one that I can play multiple times. I've played several other Roads of Rome games and enjoy them very much. The Portals edition will be another one that I can play multiple times. The story is a bit different this time around, but even more interesting than the usual. The graphics are definitely sharper and more detailed than previous editions and I like that there are multiple chapters, so each chapter is a different setting with different backgrounds. A minor complaint is that you have to collect helpful items before you can move past them. In previous editions, you had the option to collect helpful items. Although, the helpful items are generally a requirement to move further down the road (compared with simply expediting play in previous editions). There are a couple of other small differences with Portals compared to the other RoR games, but if you like them, you will like Portals. Lots of levels to keep you entertained and the levels are just the right length of play. Show less

I have all the Roads to Rome games. I love them! There are plenty of challenges and you can replay any level. I played in relaxed mode. Will likely try the next level up to see how I do.
