One of the biggest reasons I love playing Monument Builders Time Management games are because you get to learn interesting facts about the construction that you probably never knew. My favorite MB is the construction of the Alcatraz federal prison, but I probably learned more interesting facts about the last monument, Big Ben. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a boring history lesson, you simply get to read a paragraph of interesting facts before each level, and you can skip it if you want to get on with the game. Most of the Monument Builders games are uncomplicated and fairly easy to figure out which make them perfect for beginners, especially because they have very thorough tutorials.

The goals are shown at the top of the screen as well as an inventory bar that displays the quantity of your supplies such as wood, cement, food, steel and cement blocks. You will need to clear the roadways first of any food, money, supplies or debris, and some roads need holes repaired. Lazy workers need a nudge occasionally and pelicans need fed before they'll move on to greener pastures. Trees need cut to make room for buildings, and new workers can be recruited at the main warehouse.

Some levels will give you bonuses to choose before the level starts, you can choose only one at a time to Tone up the workers, have Faster Production and my favorite, Automatic Delivery of all goods, otherwise you have to click on all carts to send them to their delivery destination. The goal is to earn 3 gold stars, according to how long it takes you to complete all of the goals, however, you can replay any level as often as you want to try for a faster score. Enjoy! Show less

So happy to see developers listened to us after the last horrible installation of this series. Last time, I purchased before doing the trial, and I was so disappointed and angry. Last installation was a joke, but this one brings us back to the fun game and those of us who have played this series expect. This is fun, challenging, and interesting. I have all the other Monument Builders Games and this one is a little better then the others. I like the Gems that are earned and can be used throughout the game! I don't use the storylines in games since it takes away from getting the game done, so this is why I gave it's rating as "Good". and a bit disappointing. this one makes it all better ;)

Very similar to the other MB games in the series. The way the "facts" are presented is slightly different but overall, game play is pretty consistent with previous. It did seem "easier" getting the crystals needed for bonus/boosters for each level but not sure if gameplay is easier or if I'm used to the flow now.

I recommend this game!

This is the first monument builders I have played and was pleasantly surprised. I quite enjoyed this game...it gave me an insight what it must have been like ...way back when...when they started building this magnificent bridge !!! This was a great history lesson !

I loved the little blurbs... while starting the levels... explaining every step taken by the workers while building the bridge...I found it incredibly informative...lots of stuff I didn't know.

The music was in tune with the era that the bridge was built...I found that ingenius...and totally fit in with the theme of this game.

I feel that the graphics could have been better. I've seen much better from this developer...and those horrible little thieves that kept stealing stuff...I found that very irritating and I'm not sure why they had to include thieves in the storyline in the first place. And that's the main reason I couldn't give it 5 stars.

Other than that...its a great little historical game that I spent many hours playing.

After playing this for many hours I can honestly say that the majority of you folks who are thinking about trying this game you can't go wrong with trying it..its a great little game with a lot of fun features. Enjoy all and have fun !!! Show less

I've been playing TM games a while, hate when they are so tight ten tries won't even get you close. Plus you don't get enough rubies to break even by the eighteenth level. This is past fun right into aggro.

I don't recommend this game.

Monument Builders Golden Gate Bridge is a pure TM game with no options for a relaxed mode. You earn stars based on completing a variety of tasks within a specific time frame. The game opened with bricks on either side of the playing field since it is not programmed to open in widescreen. I don’t care for the graphics style or the music. The first thing I did was go to the options menu and mute the music. The other sound effects were not as troublesome so left those alone.

Overall the game is okay if you enjoy running around a screen completing task after task. There are facts about the Golden Gate Bridge that pop up after completing a scene so that is a nice touch. Since this is not my favorite genre, I found nothing in the game that would entice me to purchase it but, as always, I recommend that you try the demo because this might just be a game you will love. Show less
