I really like the large tiles
featured in this game makes
it much easier on the eyes.

I was almost put off by the reviews, but tried the game anyway. It did start off super easy, but as you go along, it does get harder. The larger tiles are a big plus for us with vision problems. Try it, you just might like it, but try the complete demo before you make your decision.

I was rather surprised to see my full name entered on the profile when I opened this game for the very first time, to be honest, it kind of creeped me out. After the initial shock, I moved forward with the game and searched for the so-called "3 Modes of gameplay" but the only settings I could find were for the sound and windowed mode so I can't comment on any mode but the Timed mode. I was rather surprised to see my full name entered on the profile when I opened this game for the very first time, to be honest, it kind of creeped me out. After the initial shock, I moved forward with the game and searched for the so-called "3 Modes of gameplay" but the only settings I could find were for the sound and windowed mode so I can't comment on any mode but the Timed mode. Personally, I'd prefer to play Mahjong in a Relaxed Mode because that's the whole reason I would choose to play Mahjong, for relaxation!?!

The mahjong tiles are quite large as one reviewer stated, but there aren't any options to choose other tilesets, or they could be located in the same place as the "3 modes of difficulty" The Mahjong itself has the usual Mahjong features of removing matching pairs that aren't blocked by other tiles, Flower tiles can be matched with any other Flower tile, and Season tiles can be matched with any other Season tile. Some levels have special Red tiles that must be removed to beat the level, even if other tiles remain.

There is a Hint, Shuffle and Undo feature available in limited numbers, more can be purchased with the gold you earn playing the Mahjong levels. The Multiplier will increase your score when you make matches quickly, and also decreases when you don't. You can earn up to 3 Gold Stars per level, and you can replay levels to earn more gold. Each time you replay a level, the Mahjong layouts will be different.

With each level completed, you earn a section of an Artifact that must be dragged to the correct artifact outline within the Photo Album icon, located on the bottom left. There are 8 Artifacts in each location, across France, Italy, and Greece. (Provence, Marseille, Cannes, Venice, Rome, Naples, Athens, Santorini, and Crete)

Do not get me wrong, I do really like Mahjong games this one is just ok in my opinion. This game I found very little challenge, the graphics were just ok, and the story line was the main thing I liked about it. Some people will love this game I just was not one. As I said before, in my opinion it is ok.

I found it to be a bit too easy. I wanted more of a challenge This one wasn't for me. I also like to have a choice of tiles.

I don't recommend this game.

This game could be very enjoyable.I love the big easy to see letters. But one thing ruins it. You only get so many hints, shuffles , and undos, then you have to buy them. Why? What did the game maker possibly think was being added to the enjoyment of the game by doing this? And replaying is frustrating because the board changes each time, so you can't try to figure a level out. I maybe got through ...Show more
