This game is so addictive. I'm supposed to be doing so many other things and it is so difficult to stop playing! Concept is so easy but you just can't stop. Kind of like a Star Trek TNG episode. I seriously suggest you set some time aside to get into this game. Really.

Addictive & repeatable just like all previous Clearit versions...would like to see an onscreen Clock to time myself to clear any a level...and a move number counter...so I can improve both my time & reduce the number of moves each time I play...awesome...

Hello Fellow Fishies: I wrote a review for ClearIt8 and now I am writing one for ClearIt4. I got version 9 as a freebie then I bought version 8 full price. Today there was a sale on so I grabbed versions 3 & 4. I thought there would be some repetition in the different versions but not no. I may be a rube but I am surprised the company comes up with so many different game boards in each version. The games may seem simple-minded but I play them in casual mode while I watch TV. I really enjoy blasting the games pieces and clearing each board. I have also noticed different sound effects and clearing options in each game as well. I loved IT so much that I didn't even play the demo when Clear IT 2 was released, I just bought IT. After clearing several levels of the second game, I started to grow weary of the repetitiveness and I just gave up on IT. When the original Clear IT game was released, IT was a really fun game and I purchased IT right away. I loved IT so much that I didn't even play the demo when Clear IT 2 was released, I just bought IT. After clearing several levels of the second game, I started to grow weary of the repetitiveness and I just gave up on IT. I think IT lost the IT factor, but by then a similar game was released called Quadrium, and I purchased the next two versions of THAT game. Oddly enough, I didn't lose interest in either of those games. When Clear IT 3 was released, I played the entire demo but didn't feel compelled to purchase IT. Now Clear IT has released the 4th game in the series, and I did finish the demo, but IT didn't do anything for me either, in fact, I was kind of glad the demo was over because I was certainly over IT!

I found IT to be slow and the mechanics slow to respond. IT does have 150 Levels and you can also play IT in an Expert Difficulty Mode. There's no timer or limited moves, so you take all the time in the world to clear the balls, which makes this type of game very relaxing. The gameplay itself is simple, but the game itself isn't so simple to master. There are unlimited colored balls located on all four sides of the board, all you need to do, is select and click on a ball, which will travel in a straight line until it hits another ball (or power-up) If the selected ball hits a ball on the board that is the same color, they will both be destroyed. (requires groups of 3 in Expert Mode) Using a little bit of strategy, however, allows you to destroy several balls in a single move.

Each level usually has power-ups that only remain briefly, and when hit with a ball it activates the power-up. There are Rotation power-ups that add more balls to the field, Stars that eliminate several balls, Lightning & fireballs that eliminates nearby balls, Exclamations that eliminates all balls of the same color, and 1 or 5 numbers that eliminate 1 or 5 boxes.

Each level is slightly more difficult than the previous level, as more colors are added, there's less of a chance of getting the necessary colored balls along the edges. Sometimes you just have to sacrifice a few balls, by adding more to the equation, just to get to the colored balls you need, but there's no scoring so it doesn't count against you.

Well I have the first 2 and enjoyed them but 3 I found too alike to the others and got bored so did not purchase. Then when this one came out was hoping that there would be enough extra in it to make me want to buy it but alas no I lasted 20 mins then did not want to play anymore. If you do not have the others then yes it is worth getting but if you already have the others then think very ...Show more

The game is so simple that I think a child would get bored with it too. There's no bells and whistles to this game, just keep clicking.
