I haven't had this much fun since "Mario"

As a child growing up, my family enjoyed playing the game "Mario", whereby one uses a game paddle to navigate through the various scenes. We were big fans of this game.

When I joined Big Fish, I discovered that there were many arcade/action games similar to the Mario platform, whereby one would have to navigate through various terrains and obstacles, however, what was missing was the easeful ability to maneuver through the scenes.

One day I contacted Big Fish Customer Service and asked them for tips on how they were able to enjoy playing such action/arcade games with success, without a paddle. I was told (in various wording) that I would need to use the keyboard and mouse, as that is how the game is set up to be played.

I was aware of using the keyboard and mouse, however the point I reiterated was that game play is not smooth when using them. I asked if there was some sort of extension a member could by, ie a paddle, which could be used with the Big Fish arcade/action games. I was informed that there was not.

I'm not sure if an extended 'plug-in' paddle device has been created since then, as I haven't looked around.

My point in relaying this long story is for the developers. Congratulations on creating a game that has smooth game play using the computer mouse! The improvements are great. The difference between the other Big Fish action/arcade games I've tried and this one "Bad Girl" is vast.

I've had great fun playing "Bad Girl" , and I've maneuvered the mouse with ease.

I also find the graphics in this game colorful, pleasing to look at, and humorous.

And in many cases, this game allows one to continue if your character 'dies' without having to start over. You pay a few game coins which you've earned, and you continue. A big plus here. {In the past, I've played games whereby one has to get through some very tough levels and would have to start over at the beginning if the character dies (frustrating)}.

Well done game developers. Thanks for your lighthearted sense of humor in creating these games. Keep up the great work. Show less

This is an adorable running game with fun graphics, animations, and music. And no, you can't stop; because it's a RUNNING game. That's the point of it. You run and collect items. You'll need to replay levels to learn them so you can devise a good strategy for winning them. You can buy upgrades to your boosters and weapons and you can buy cute outfits for your character.

I recommend this game!

I would have given this game 5 stars as it is generous, allows you to buy power ups, equiptment and dress your avatar in all manner of clothes (for money) BFG gamers do not have to actually use real cash. I took off a star because it appears in this adaption, there is only ONE profile. So I don't even know not having reached the end yet whether there is any replay value or it is one go and that's it?

Try the demo, I am so glad I did or I would not have realised I can actually play this one! Show less

It's a fun fastpace game, but the disappointing part is you cannot run back, you can only run in 1 direction and just jump, there is no real game element to go back and search fur coins and other stuff you missed like the old Sonic the hedgehog games.

I don't recommend this game.

I love coin collection types of games, but this one only has the one-speed mode and only allows you to go forward, so it was an immediate turn off for me right from the start! If I could slow down the character and go back to catch the coins I missed, I would have given this game 5-Stars because it would have been a super-fun game!

I love coin collection types of games, but this one only has the one-speed mode and only allows you to go forward, so it was an immediate turn off for me right from the start! If I could slow down the character and go back to catch the coins I missed, I would have given this game 5-Stars because it would have been a super-fun game!

There aren't a lot of customizable features, there are 2 Language options and you can turn the music on or off, but that's it, no character selections, no difficulty options, and no way to turn off the tutorial. The graphics are rather flat and colorless and the animations had huge potential because of the theme, but they just didn't take advantage of it.

The goal is to move the character forward to collect Coins and jump over obstacles by either left-clicking the mouse or pressing the space-bar. (holding the click or space-bar=higher distance) On several occasions, I had to use the space-bar instead of the mouse because I just couldn't jump high enough to get over some hills. Specific level goals are given before the start of each level and you must collect 3 keys by jumping on the Cavemen you encounter, which opens the Treasure Chest and gives you a new piece of the Map to continue your journey. After each level, you get to Spin the Wheel and win prizes, mostly just more coins.

As your progress, obstacles are added that can hurt you, but sometimes helps you, such as Giant Mushrooms that help you jump higher like a trampoline. You can also get Club upgrades that allow you to bust through anything and everything instead of having to jump. You can replay the levels as often as you'd like, but as I said earlier, it would be much more fun to be able to go backward as well as forward.

The Coins are used to purchase items in the Shop. You can purchase Weapons like hammers, a screw nut on a stick, an ax, spear, sea urchin staff, trident, and even a Pirate's cutlass to help you with the level goals. You can also buy Costumes and various clothing for the Bad Girl. You can purchase Power-ups such as Magnets to attract coins, or various side-kicks like a Wild Boar, Pteradactl, Penguin, Tiger, or Crocodile that can either bulldoze their way through obstacles, fly in the air or jump higher, but each one has their limitations and aren't beneficial in every situation. I like these type of games normally but this one left a lot to be desired.Basically all you can do is jump. You cannot slow the figure down or go back to collect coins you have missed.The figure only goes fast,one direction and jumps,you have very little control of it. Because of this I found the game to be boring and not much fun.

I don't recommend this game.

This side scrolling game could have been fantastic if you could pause and think about your moves. It is nothing like the old favorite Mario Brothers. If it was it would be a hit.
