I WAS a fan of the Delicious games, until they ran out of storylines, and started making the characters act like trailer trash. This game is fun, the storyline doesn't belittle its characters, and the play was challenging. Good buy, especially if you just want a simple, fun storyline.

fun and fast game. reminds me of Emily. some levels are quite challenging -had to play several times to beat- no mouse in this game you have a cute little kitty- this proves that cops do like donuts

I like this kind of tm games. It is different story lines, different people, different settings. I still like the game. If you are new to tm games, this is a good game to try.

Love this game. It's face pace, challenging and fun. I need more TMG like this one. No mini games just getting down to time and management. LOVE LOVE IT.

I bought this game after 5 minutes of the trial as soon as I saw that it was like the Delicious series. Instead of a mouse, you find a little cat, and the game play is the same. It is rather difficult to get 3 stars without doing some levels over, and it has no setting for game play like beginner, etc, but it does keep you on your toes! This is obviously a knockoff of Emily Delicious games. It even uses the same music. However, it is still a fast paced game with a cute story line. Girl from small town dreaming of the city, then realizes she wasn't missing anything.
I don't mind that it is not an original, because it does remind me of the earlier Emily games before they became so overly scripted.
would recommend.

This game is like the Delicious games. The only difference being that you earn the money but you never get to spend it on anything. If you don't get to spend the money you earn, what is the point? Instead of diamonds, you get hearts to buy souvenir cooking utensils. Instead of a mouse, you get a cat. This game is okay for simplicity but if you want a real challenge, just go get the Delicious ...Show more

I love the old Delicious Deluxe games. I love this one also, but the only trouble I'm having, and I haven't seen this in other reviews, is that it doesn't always follow the mouse commands. Like trying to put a cupcake together, especially if you're trying to make more than one, it doesn't complete the task unless you wait a second for the first one to settle or whatever. I haven't played the Delicious games that everyone compares Julie's Sweets to, but on it's own, Julie's Sweets is a very good game. As others have noted, the storyline is really weird. I don't want to see a storyline about sexual harassment in a game (I want to have fun, be entertained, and get AWAY from reality)! Also, why is Julie freaking out about a guy being nice to her? She is presumably an adult if she's going off to NY to culinary school; not a 13-year old. Weird. Show less
