I love playing mosaic games and World's Greatest Cities is my favourite series of that type. There's a level of difficulty to suit everybody and their every mood -- casual, normal, expert and you can create your own by choosing custom which lets you customize all options (make some hard, some easy, some in-between, whatever).

I really enjoy playing the Mystery Lands and Labyrinth puzzle boards, too, although not as much as the regular puzzle boards. They're a pleasant little diversion that make pretty "nature-y" type pictures (flowers, grass, stone or sand paths, creeks), easy to complete yet still fun to do.
Music and sound effects are soothing, relaxing, not intrusive or annoying at all.
I urge you to give the demo a try if you like logic puzzle games. I highly recommend this one.

In this time of isolation, this game is most welcome. It's relaxing, logical, and allows the mind to escape reality for a short time.
I recommend this game!

When a multicolor puzzle is done, the finished picture is posted upside down. This is very annoying and has been present on most of the prior games.
I recommend this game!

fromI sure do miss those Shape style Mosaics, I'd purchase a game w/out even playing the trial first if it was entirely based on the Shapes mode!ヅ

I always love to see a new release of Worlds Greatest Cities/Places Mosaics because they always included new styles and features. I always love to see a new release of Worlds Greatest Cities/Places Mosaics because they always included new styles and features. Lately, I haven't enjoyed World's Greatest Cities Mosaic games because of the Mysterylands and Labyrinth style Mosaics. They are so generic and easily solved, yet it's easy to make a "visual" mistake because the filled-in cells in those modes, particularly the Mysterylands mode, covers the entire cell (the grid lines or squares blend together to give them the appearance of a real, moving picture of ponds with swimming turtles, etc.). This is just my personal preference, but as far as the Multi-colored Mosaics go, they are top-notched, logic-based griddlers, I'm just wishful thinking that they will include the shapes modes soon!
The main feature of this series is that they take you to the World's Greatest Cities and tell you some interesting facts about the city you are visiting. You can play in a Casual, Normal or Expert difficulty mode, or you can customize the difficulty mode by choosing if you want to play in a timed mode, if you want bonus points as a time bonus, whether you want numbers crossed off one by one or only when the entire row has been completed, and you can set the number of mistakes allowed from 1-5 and how long it takes for the hint feature to recharge from 30-120 seconds.
The Segment Length Checker feature has returned, (first offered on WGCM #7) but I actually like this feature, especially when solving a larger grid. You can turn it on or off at any time by clicking the round circle on the right-hand side, but when it's on, it shows you how many cells there are in both the column and the row of whichever cell your cursor is hovering over (with directional arrows so you won't get confused) Some reviewers love this feature, others hate it but if you don't want the intrusiveness, you can always turn it off.
There are 3 different types of Mosaics offered in this version:
*Traditional (multi-colored) which has different colors to switch between to help you solve the puzzle. In some of the puzzles, some sections may be locked, requiring you to complete a different color to unlock those sections.
*Mystery Lands which fills in each cell with 3 different kinds of pictures that when complete forms a beautiful scene, often with swimming fish, turtles, boats and even ants and bugs crawling around on the lawn.
*Labyrinth Game is similar to Mystery Lands, but after completing the puzzle, you guide a ball through the maze from point A to B by clicking on intersections of the maze. (which is kind of a waste of time, in my opinion, because the labyrinth isn't difficult to navigate)
You can choose between 10 different Tilesets by clicking on the arrow at the very bottom of the right-hand side (I believe it is located under the ? Hint icon) There haven't been any new features added since the introduction of the segment counter a few episodes back, so I'm hoping T1 Games will think of something incredible to shatter the "norm" that they are so famous for doing.

This is my first experience with this particular mosaic game. Why are the finished multi-colored pictures upside down???
It's a real put off to this game. If it's been a problem on the other games from this developer, you would have thought they would have fixed it by now.
I don't recommend this game.
