I own all but their Magic Mosaics game simply because I wasn't experienced at playing nonograms at that time. Since then I finally got the hang of it and absolutely love them. Now I ask myself what the fuss was all about. This newest mosaic game is enjoyable and relaxing in spite of keeping my mind busy with the business of logic.

I own all but their Magic Mosaics game simply because I wasn't experienced at playing nonograms at that time. Since then I finally got the hang of it and absolutely love them. Now I ask myself what the fuss was all about. This newest mosaic game is enjoyable and relaxing in spite of keeping my mind busy with the business of logic.

I love the little story here and the bonus jigsaw puzzles are a nice addition. The pictures are adorable, and easily identifiable even if they were not titled. I enjoy the challenge of the various sized grids as I progress through the levels. The pictures could be brighter, IMO, but it doesn't spoil the fun! Happy, bright colors are always better wth mosaics.

My very favorite griddlers are the Rainbow Mosaics and The Far Kingdoms Garden Mosaics. But I have just one complaint, which applies to them all...the contrast between the numbers around the grid and the background image is not bright enough. This causes (me) needless errors many times and my frustration takes off like a rocket, lol. My eyes are gently aging now and I wear glasses, so maybe it is more of a problem for me than for other nonogram fans, But, then again, maybe not. But I must say the issue is not as bad here as in the other games.

Now if we could just receive more of these lovely little gems! They don't come to us often enough.

I'm shocked, I so dislike the mosaic games, but it was 3 AM and needed to do something to put me to sleep, so thought I'd just do the demo. I don't really consider this mosaics, my interest is in the sudoku aspect of the game. I don't really consider this mosaics, my interest is in the sudoku aspect of the game. Well, needless to say, it didn't put me to sleep and I bought as soon as demo expired, then continued to play all day with no sleep. It is difficult and you really need to use your logic and analytical part of the brain, but it's relaxing, no stress, unless you run into a puzzle that you've failed on 10 times and there's no way to skip, so you just keep trying. I'm now on level 97, finished building castles a long time ago but keep going forward, and the puzzles are pretty darn difficult here, so will probably start over. Really people, give this a try, you may be surprised like I was....I never give 5 Stars, so this has to be not the norm and lots of fun Show less

I disagree with other reviews regarding a dull experience with the game colors. I love the matted hues and even halted game play to post a review. In an age where everyone is striving to outdo with bold glaring colors, this gaming experience offers a nice respite. Try it, you'll like it!

Corvus has returned with dreadful news! The Dark Magician has ordered his army to take control of The Far Kingdoms. Can this wicked sorcerer be stopped, or will his dark magic consume the Kingdoms? I've always been a fan of The Far Kingdoms series, but I thought the colors were rather dull in this particular Mosaic edition. It does, however, have some good features, and they are based upon logic!

I absolutely love the variety of different sized grids on just about every puzzle, large grids, small grids, easy grids and challenging grids of every size. You can play in Casual mode where the numbers are crossed off one by one, or Advanced Mode which doesn't fill in the cells until an entire row or column has been completed.

The goal of a mosaic is to either fill in cells or cross them off logically. Each row and column has a set of numbers that allows you to solve the puzzle, sometimes it's easier to figure out which cells can't possibly be filled in, and toggling between colors allows you to narrow down the playing field. You begin each level with 1 hint, and as you fill in the cells, you will earn more hints and coins.

There are 96 levels and you can earn up to 3 stars per level. There is a reset button and you can replay any of the levels. Once the Amulet recharges you can use it to fill in 3 random tiles, and there are 6 different Tile Set styles to choose from, enjoy~

I did not like the inconsistency of the grid layouts. Some used very large numbers, with few squares, others smaller numbers with lots of squares, even though a third or more were already marked off. My eyes felt like I was first seeing a baseball, then a ping pong ball, then a basketball. The actual pictures formed by filling in the mosaics were too simplistic and did not fairly represent a realistic rendition of the item. More than once, after I closed the game and went back to it later, it did not take me back to the level I had been playing when I exited. Not realizing this, I played a few grids over again, until I recognized one that I had played before. When I went looking for why this happened, thinking it was a duplicate, I found I was not playing the level at which I had exited. I don't like repeating grids; it is a waste of my time. Definitely not an enjoyable game for me. Perhaps beginning players would be impressed with this game. Show less

Far Kingdoms should stick to solitaire which they do very well. Too many of these mosaics were not solvable by logic. Also the story line and the mosaics seemed to have nothing in common. I did enjoy the breaks with the little jigsaw puzzles. It's a good game but not one where I strongly encourage others to buy.

Nonogram #1 in the second screen has more than one solution if you play it in advanced difficulty (black color).
