I think this is a great game for TM fans! I bought the collectors edition and I really enjoyed it. It does get a little bit repetitive but can be very challenging. Give it a try if you love TM games.

I enjoyed playing this game. It gets harder as you play, and if you are going for a perfect game you have to play the same level a couple of times. I wish it was longer, but I say that about all my favorite games. My mom, brother, and grandpop have tried their hand at this game. They like it too.
I am looking forward to Cooking Trip 2...

I loved this game and played until my fingers fell off. Then, when they healed, I change my profile name and played it again. If you are task oriented, this is the one for you!

I do like this game, but it is super hard and I have to play most levels more than once to get gold. There are still a few bugs but I do recommend if you are a TM fan; this will definitely keep you occupied!

I played this game as I like cooking games this one was fun once you got to know what you had to do I got to level 60 then that was it nowhere else to go did not feel like I had come to the end of the game. Good Fun but wish had more levels

I like timed games with a challenge and this has it. The levels are difficult without being impossible and yes it gets repetitive at times but I'm a 3 star must have type player.

There's something new to use more or less every level and you have to consider what is the best upgrade to buy each time as the wrong choice could mean the next round is even more difficult.

I recommend this game!

This game, despite being one of the older titles, is a bit buggy. Usually, they update to correct bugs. For example, despite getting gold on every level, the icons on the map only turned gold for levels 1-16. And when I completed the game, the final dialog box's message was 2.txt.2.

This game, despite being one of the older titles, is a bit buggy. Usually, they update to correct bugs. For example, despite getting gold on every level, the icons on the map only turned gold for levels 1-16. And when I completed the game, the final dialog box's message was 2.txt.2.
Other oddities are the inability to go back and replay a level to improve your score once you moved on in the game. If you don't earn gold on the first go-round you're given the option to replay the level. However, if you decide to progress and come back, you can't choose the level you want to replay. Not sure if this is by design or if it's a bug.
It's not anything earth shattering, but it is a fun play if you're into these cooking type games. Show less

I love time management games of this type so Cooking Trip looked promising. But it ends up being exactly the same as the Katy & Bob games. The same game interface was used and all they did was change the names and the story. Even some of the scenes looked familiar.

Important upgrades like making the chef cook faster and enabling quicker food delivery takes special coins. And the only way to gather them is to get three stars on every level. Upgrades to the grill, juice machine and fridge cost a lot of tip money, so again, you need to serve customers quickly.

Each level brings a new item to use or a new food to serve. There's no time to get used to the item because the very next level adds a new one. You also have to use your coins to upgrade the decor which helps customers to stay a bit calmer. But doing that takes away from upgrading your equipment. It's a really frustrating game to play in my opinion.

If all you want to do is have fun and you don't care about failing levels, then you might like Cooking Trip. For me, there's just too much thrown at you too quickly and it becomes a hectic mess. Show less

I'm actually offended that this developer throws out one game after another hoping one will "stick". I'm actually offended that this developer throws out one game after another hoping one will "stick". If that one isn't a grand hit, all they do is slap a number next to it to say it's the 2nd or 3rd in that same series without having to lift a finger to change anything This game is a perfect example, not a single thing is different...except for the characters names they changed from Katy & Bob to Mary & John.

The story is exactly the same, only the names have been changed to protect the innocent...paying customer who bought Katy & Bob. The restaurant layout is exactly the same, starting out with 3 standing room only tables on the left, a fence around the entire tiki hut restaurant, a grill where John continuously flips steaks at a break-neck pace, a condiments station to the left of the grill, rectangular tables for fruits of various types on the bottom portion of the screen, a freezer on the right-hand side, next to the grill, to turn those fruits and veggies into a frosty cold beverage, and eventually, 2 different restaurants with similar Katy & Bob themes. Does any of this sound familiar? Of course, it does, because this is the MO for all games by this dev, all they ever do is change the Title and now the characters names.

This is a Point & Click, Time Management game where you serve customers for tips. You simply click the customer to give them a menu when they arrive and then click on the items they order, (pictured items are shown in their thought bubble) and re-click the customer to deliver those food items (exactly as pictured) The good news is that you don't have to drag anybody or anything, an annoying feature some TM games incorporate. When the $ sign appears, you click the customer a final time to accept payment and then scan the cursor over the coins to receive the tip. (Coins? I don't think a few coins add up to a 20% tip!?!) Each customer has a Green Smiley over their head which turns Yellow, and eventually, Red if the service is too slow because they lose patience. Their patience level also directly affects the amount of tip they are willing to leave, with either Gold, Silver, or Bronze Coins. The "Expert" Goal amount is shown before the start of each level, and there are Bonus Goals available (but not required) which are shown at the bottom, such as collecting money from three consecutive customers simultaneously.

As you progress, the Menu items increase and become more complex, such as a Steak with several different condiments or sides. The tips you earn are used to purchase Upgrades from the Shop to help you achieve level goals, such as Extra Serving Stations, Decor to help stabilize the customers' mood or earn more money by Increasing the cost of food items.
