I have become so bored with the 2 "animal-themed" mosaic series' offered practically every week here on Big Fish because they never change anything. Time Twins: Haunted Images are exactly what Dr. Frankenstein ordered for Halloween. The graphics are really imaginative, the images created are intricately detailed, the music is creepy, the grids are oddly sized, the puzzles are challenging, the completed images are easily recognized (& labeled!) and each grouping of images creates a haunting scenario, not to mention the fact that you get 8 Bonus Puzzles! (Mahjong-Edges-Block Puzzles-Sudoku-Hexagon-Aces-Up, Peg Solitaire-Block Collapse)

You can choose from 14 different Avatars, there are 32 unique and humorous Achievements to earn, and the Custom Cursor is a Skeleton Hand with a pointing finger. You can play in an Easy or Hard difficulty mode which either crosses off numbers immediately or when the entire row or column has been completed, and you can earn up to 3 Stars per level with 5 Mistakes allowed per level.

Each Level has 6 Mosaic puzzles to solve and right from the get-go they are challenging because they are such detailed images on oddly shaped grids. They aren't hard to solve, but it's easy to make a mistake if you don't pay attention because unlike those other 2 mosaic games I mentioned, these aren't necessarily symmetrical puzzles (which is why those puzzles are so easy) The money you uncover while solving puzzles is used to unlock the Bonus Puzzles, it would have been really cool if there was a Haunted Mansion or something similar to build, otherwise, fantastic job guys!

What a nice surprise. I have been hoping to see another Gizmos mosaic and this is the closest I have seen. Though I often buy other mosaic games the level of challenge is not even close. The graphics could use a little more polish but I am not complaining. Hope they make more.

The level of challenge in this game is high. If you take your eyes from the game or relax you make a mistake. I don'l allow myself to make mistakes in this type of game so if the phone goes or someone knocks at the door, bang I've made a mistake and have to restart the level. I do make many mistakes but I am tenacious and try again and again. I'm hoping my concentration will improve as I go along. ...Show more

What I have been waiting for in griddlers! A charming game with variety and challenge. My screen is large so seeing the squares and numbers was no problem. I did have a little trouble seeing the difference between some of the colors but that made it all the more challenging. Thank you to this developer for daring to make grids bigger than 15 X 20. I'm so tired of every other game looking exactly the same. Fun Halloween theme, and several other kinds of games to play as well. My only wish is that they had used more than 4 colors, and with larger grids, they can do so much more with the artistry, but I'm loving it. Nice to have a bit of a challenge.

I have been enjoying playing this game since I bought it last week as I like the challenge of large grids.

I was surprised there have been so many complaints about the size of the squares. My eyesight is not particularly good but the dots in the squares and skeletal finger pointer have helped me avoid mistakes. Also I like the white lines marking off every 5 squares when filling in with black or a dark colour. I also opted to just show coloured dots in the squares of other colours rather than the whole box.

I have been playing on the basic level as I don't like having to mark off all the blank squares but I ignore the numbers crossed off and rely on logic so I have not reduced my rating

The animations when a stage is finished add to the game but the stage titles were obviously not spell checked - see Stage 4 photo above for example. Show less

I was looking for a good game to spent the code I had collected with the BF scavenger hunt to get a big discount. So I decided to give this game a chance. I have never played such games before. Not really. Some adventure/hop games do have similar mini-puzzles as seen in this game, a more simple version but the idea is the same. I always like those mini-puzzles but most times they are very easy and over before you have started.

This game is a treat. I couldn’t wait to buy it after the trial was over. I find this game fun and challenging. The only thing I don't like is the limit of making just 5 mistakes each level. Make any more and you have to start over. Luckily I'm already getting better in it. Which means fewer to no mistakes.

As a bonus I just unlocked a mahjong game with different lay-outs to choose from. There are more bonus games to unlock, achievements to earn and goofy avatars. If you like this type of game, you get your money’s worth, especially on sale. Show less

Time Twins Mosaics Haunted Images is a devilishly hard game that, overall, I very much liked. However, there are some things about the game that will keep me from giving it a 5-star rating. The major thing that makes the game difficult for me is that some of the boards have such small squares and numbers that it is difficult to see where I am and what squares I need to fill. I think developers should take into account that many older gamers have visual difficulties that make this game very hard on the eyes. It was very hard on my eyes to play more than a few boards at a time because of eye-strain.

The best thing, at least for me, about this game is that it takes logic to figure out which tiles should be filled. With some boards, even early in the game, I had to switch between colors frequently to make any progress in the game. Some mosaic type games make it far too easy and for me less enjoyable, even though these types of games are what I play almost every day.

Overall, I highly recommend Time Twins Mosaics Haunted Images as an excellent game with a lot of challenge. If you want a game that makes you think, then this is one you will most likely enjoy. This one is a keeper for me. Happy gaming! Show less

This started ok for the first 3 levels but at the 4th level, I could hardly make out the numbers and the grid was so small it was very hard to count off the squares. There was plenty of space to make both bigger. My eyes hurt - no buy for me.

I don't recommend this game.
