I enjoyed playing this, 'tho similar to the last. It's got a little bit of challenge and great for a mindless play. The slot gives you a break from playing but can get monotonous at the slow speed.
Some of the hint boxes hide the play for a second which is annoying. If you like TM with a little strategy this one can be fun. Purchased the Standard game at a discounted price, not worth it ...Show more

I like this game series, but this particular episode was a little too easy, even on "Expert". I didn't even need to max out the upgrades on the spinner.

I enjoyed the game, but it was over too quickly.

I recommend this game!

If you have never played this series before then you may enjoy it.Its not that bad that it is not worthy of trying the demo, give it a try.But, it is virtually a repeat of the previous games but what in my mind makes this worse is the CE of this game came out 9 months ago in beginning October. so it hardly fits in to the "New game every day " claim

I don't recommend this game.

Oh my I don't dislike the game, it is the same as many other collect resources games but I REALLY dislike the boring spin roulette to get power ups

It takes so long and so many spins to get the power ups and this badly affects the game as when you get to later levels you need the speed etc to be able to get 3 stars

I don't recommend this game.

At least the Standard Edition version is cheaper right? Simply put, Argonauts Agency is just another filler game BF uses when they don't have a decent game to fill the "Tomorrow's Game Today" slot. As with the other four games in the Argonauts Agency series, this one is chock full of annoying, repetitive, back-and-forth, to-and-fro tasks, one of which consists of rowing a tiny boat to a tiny port, just to pick up a tiny loaf of bread and fill a tiny pot-hole because the creators either don't care whether we like or buy the game, or they have a tiny imagination and assume that if it was fun once, they may as well overuse and abuse the task to the point of driving the player insane with boredom.

Constantly having to restore ports and row my boat back and forth to gather a simple loaf of bread left randomly on a path on several tiny islands just isn't fun, it's boring. If it was the main scenario in one of the series games it wouldn't be that bad, but nothing changes, it's hard to spot any differences within the last five Argonauts games! (look at the images posted above and then scroll back to the other 4 games, do they look the same?) Honestly, there actually is a new task this time, they threw in a simultaneous button-pushing task where you have to send two workers to two different buttons to push them both at the same time. (it's not even an original idea, they just borrowed it from a more interesting TM game)

You can play in an Untimed, Normal or Hard difficulty mode and it allows you to switch back and forth easily before the start of each level with an icon located above the levels. This is actually not a horrible feature because it allows you to play the first go-round in an untimed mode to figure out what the requirements are, such as what materials are needed for each task (bridges, boulders, etc) and then you can switch to a harder mode once you perfect the level. After earning 5-Stars, you're given the opportunity to choose 1 of 3 Treasure Chests to earn extra resources, faster workers, etc.which are given in percentage increments for a specified amount of time.

Bonuses can be won by spinning a Casino Slot Machine with Crystals as the currency because you know how the Greek demi-gods love their casinos?? You will earn 10 Crystals every 5 minutes you play (why not leave the game running overnight?) The bonuses are % based and become more worthy the higher the percentage:

⛏️Sandals~speeds up the characters.
⛏️Axe~cut down trees faster.
⛏️Shovel~fill holes faster.
⛏️Sword~monster battle time reduced.
⛏️Hammer~speeds up construction.
⛏️Pick~speeds stone breaking time.

There's really nothing different here than any other TM game. Build Farms for food, Sawmills for wood, Gold Mines, Quarries for stone and Markets for trading food for specific materials such as Stone or Gold. There are the usual Berry Bushes for a renewable food source (shouldn't it be an olive tree?) as well as the usual path blockers of thorny vines, a zillion potholes, piles and piles of conveniently cut & perfectly stacked wood, giant boulders that are no where near a rocky source (perhaps Hercules dropped them off as a prank) puddles (also without a source) and those famous loaves of bread left behind most assuredly by someone's granny? Let's not forget about those random caches of gold coins, the gods sure do favor this Agency!

The only differences between the Collector's Edition version and this Standard Edition version, are 10 Concept Art pictures, 31 Achievements, 5 Music Soundtracks, and a few extra levels in the Additional Campaign section. (This SE version still has 50 Levels)
