This is a very familiar M3 from a developer that makes MANY games just like this and simply changes the theme. I was a bit jaded when I started to play expecting the same as all the others and I would get bored. And the gameplay is the same, But....

I am however finding the tiles and minigames in this one really pleasing on the eye and they have bothered to change some of the features around from other games. You dont pick from 3 options as to what bonus you get when you finish a level there is simply a chest and you will get what is given lol. I must admit I didnt finish the demo..but so far it has only given me gold not other resources, I seem to need to earn them from the boards. However many of the resources on the board double or triple your loot. So it may be worth letting the tutorial run for a bit and then you can just turn it off and on at will..

The settlement you build is just like all other games, once you have enough resources you can build and upgrade. The minigames are all pretty good too. I enjoyed restoring the painting as an aside, and beware if you are someone who likes their game achievements perfect, even though you can quickly skip the games and the dialogue, one achievement is 'not skip a minigame'..so check those out.

All in all it is an extremely smooth running game with great colours and historically with this developer you get huge value of level count for your purchase and plenty of powerups and tools to help you along. Large matches attract 'blow up' ball features of varying strengths, and these are also part of your achievements how many times you use them.

I have only one slight grump, but I got used to it, in that I found it hard sometimes to see the odd remaining tile that needed removing and had to do a lot of scanning to find it. But that is a small gripe.

I didn't think I would ever buy another of these type of games because I own SO many in this style, but this one is rich and deep, a pleasure to play, and how I always judge a game..did it make me smile?..Yes! Enjoy! Show less

I have all this series and each time I think I will just play the demo and see if there are any differences but not buy and then something appeals to me and it's another buy.

Little things like bonus tiles changing half way through a level and the fact that if you still have charged bonuses at the end of a level they carry on to the next level,

Not a great lover of the mini games but you can skip them after 30 seconds.

A lot of games become boring and nothing changes further in but not this one it really does get better and better.

2 match 3's in a row, 2 entirely different games , enjoyed both but this is my favorite. Shush, don;t tell anyone.

As usual try the demo but believe me it just keeps producing the goods. Enjoy, I know I will Show less

Love this game. It's very challenging. You may think you have LOTS of time in the beginning but it gets more and more difficult. But the bonuses start to come when it does so they come in handy. this is another in the series. i played on the relaxed level. you play to build the town back up and earn power ups as you go. i had a problem seeing which blocks had to be destroyed. there should have been more contrasting colors. after i built the town it just kept going and since i had already finished the game and played about 5 more levels i stopped. if you take too long the game will show ...Show more

I need some help on this. I understand this:Matches will earn Elemental Bombs on the board:
*Water Element: (Blue) Match 4-clears 5-tile radius.
*Earth Element: (Green) Match 5-clears 9-tile radius.
*Fire Element((Orange) Match 6-clears 25-field tile radius.
but how do you get the wind/air element? How many matches do you need to get it?

This was a long game - it took me over 200 levels (and 15 hours) to finish building the town - well, I'm not really an experienced Match 3 player. While not overly challenging, and certainly not much strategy involved, each level was different and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it.

I recommend this game!

I have purchased all of the Match 3 games in this "Legend Of" Series because they are really fun games with colorful graphics and "Even More Jewels". But don't let the bling fool you because as you progress, the levels offer a decent set of challenges as various obstacles are added to the mix.

You can play in a Relaxed, Medium, or Hard Mode of Difficulty, however, none of the options are explained, so I'm assuming the Relaxed is an untimed option, and the Hard Mode gives you less time than the Medium Mode (which is the mode I played in and seemed to be a normal time limit) There are 3 Cursors Options, and 38 Achievements to earn. You can earn up to 3 Stars per level, but you only get the option to Replay levels when you don't earn all 3-Stars. After the Match 3 Levels, you open a Chest that awards you various prizes of Gold or Gemstones, and occasionally you get to play a Hidden Object Scene or a simple Mini-Game.

The Level Goals vary, such as making matches on Sand covered tiles or Lapis Lazuli covered tiles, Gold covered tiles are worth double value but they don't have to be cleared. Other goals may require you to Collect a specified amount of specific Tiles or earn a specified amount of Gold Coins. Some tiles such as the Crook and Scourge tile increases your fortune by 2...but again, poor instructions don't explain what the "2" is, could be gold, could be sapphires, could be knowledge, who knows?

Eventually, Power-up Boosters can be purchased and used at your discretion to clear rows and columns, etc., but they must recharge after each use by making matches of the same icons. Large Matches will earn Elemental Bombs on the board:
*Water Element: (Blue) Match 4-clears 5-tile radius.
*Earth Element: (Green) Match 5-clears 9-tile radius.
*Fire Element((Orange) Match 6-clears 25-field tile radius.

There are various Obstacles such as Half-Wrapped & Full-Wrapped Tiles that require making matches of the same tile that is encased in the mummy-wrap, (either once or twice depending on how encased the tile is) and they don't necessarily need to be destroyed because sometimes they aren't blocking your goals. There are also Loose Sand Tiles that you have to dig through which opens up new areas.

When you have earned enough Coins, Sapphires Quartz, Amethysts, Rubies, and specific Achievements, you can purchase Houses and various shops to build the village, which in turn allows you access to the shops' Boosters. Each construction can then be upgraded two more times once those resources and requirements have been met (click on the individual building to see the requirements for each upgrade) You can click and drag the map around to see the village in its entirety, and it does have a lot of characters and even random animals roaming around.

Definitely worthy of a PCC, I have purchased all of the games in this series, they kind of remind me of the Cradle of Rome series. I think this one is the best one yet, I haven't made it much past the demo yet but it's turning out to be a decent Match 3 game which we don't seem to get a lot of lately.
