This is like a lot of 'serve' the people, cash up and improve TM's. There is hardly any tutorial at first and you are left to figure out how the game plays and what the arrows actually want you to do. Once having done that I found it all a bit tedious.

This is like a lot of 'serve' the people, cash up and improve TM's. There is hardly any tutorial at first and you are left to figure out how the game plays and what the arrows actually want you to do. Once having done that I found it all a bit tedious.
People come to see the animals and you must find the one they want to see, then play a little mini game on most (pick an item, feed the lemur etc) and your happiness and task fulfilled meter fills up..and you go to the cash register where Kerry has to take your money. With this cash you then buy items to make the zoo better, albeit with furnishings or upgrading the animals.
Its just ok in my books. One, you must like this type of series, and two its not the best of the best. If it is your favourite genre you may enjoy it. To me the little mini games were the most fun to be had. As always, try the demo. Its a pass from me. Show less

Dragging characters to their destination is a...drag. I'd much rather click on them and click on their destination. That I could have overlooked though. I found that most of the time when I clicked on an animal it had to be exact or Kerry wouldn't move there. That was the deal breaker for me. The game play is like Wedding Salon, Bella Design and Bloom but not as smooth. Show less

The next time I go to the Zoo, I'm totally going to just stand there at the gate, holding up the entire line, waiting for the zookeeper to pick me up and carry me to each and every animal exhibition. The next time I go to the Zoo, I'm totally going to just stand there at the gate, holding up the entire line, waiting for the zookeeper to pick me up and carry me to each and every animal exhibition. Better yet, he could just get behind me and push me just like the game. The zookeeper would surely rather clean the lion's den or scrub the alligator's teeth, and I'd surely rather join him in doing so, before playing a game that requires me to drag characters all over the board!
I gotta admit, I was pretty excited about a TM game where I get to build a Zoo to house all kinds of exotic creatures big and small, how cool is that?!? I'm sure many fellow animal lovers will enjoy this Time Management game if they aren't opposed to dragging the poor kids through the park, and if they can overlook the fact that the game is nothing more than a Manual Dextethrity exercise based solely upon the premise of simplistic fast-play "mini-games" that are neither fun nor do they require logic or any other thought process. Perhaps, the game was an app and someone got the bright idea to convert it to a desktop version without tweaking the settings?
Basically, customers arrive and pop a squat on a chair in the middle of nowhere and patiently (☺/ ☹) wait to be dragged to the animal of their preference, a raccoon or a fennec fox for starters. As assistant to Zookeeper Kerry, and the only employee, it is your responsibility to hoist them over your shoulder and plop them gently at the chosen exhibition destination, as indicated by the patrons' thought bubble, because you are also psychic.
Once the patron has arrived at their Zooworld location, you simply click the tiny pink button which summons Kerry the Zookeeper because she can't seem to figure out which of the 2 locations she should visit even though they are within a few feet of each other. Once that magic Call Button has been clicked it's time to play a mini-game such as choosing the correct item the raccoon wants (1/3 pictured items) or a whack-a-mole version of choosing the holes the fennec fox will appear. The mini-games require speed and manual dexterity, not logic, so I'm confused as to who the targeted audience is supposed to be, kids or adults? I don't think older people will like this game because of the above features.
When the customers are finished being picked up and dragged to the animal exhibitions, a MIRACLE occurs and they are suddenly able to walk on their own two feet to the Cash Register! Guess that's why they call it Zooworld Odyssey! Show less

Love the cute animals, but my hands hurt after just a few minutes of the demo. Dragging characters is just annoying, and the mini-games aren't interesting. I generally love time management games, but I can't deal.with this one.

I don't mind dragging people around in games, but the mini-games need to be more interesting. Hovering over three items to find which one the raccoon wants, boring. Offering an apple slice to a fox after it pops its head out, boring. I quit when it came time to pick two items of clothing for a rabbit. Deadly dull. There are also no level choices. This game is a classic example of the way most TM games are now. I think the graphics, music, and gameplay itself aren't bad, and it's really just a matter of whether or not you like these time management games. These click and drag, minigame style games are all pretty standard, but this one does appear to stand out among all the rest of them.
The story line in this game is actually really good, and the ending makes it clear that they plan to continue the series, which I would very much look forward to, as it is, in its own way, unique.
Overall, this wouldn't be a bad game, and it would have tremendous replay value.
HOWEVER, after playing through the game and buying all the upgrades, it is STILL impossible to get master score on about half, if not most, of the levels.
I am a player that takes great joy and a sense of satisfaction in getting master score on all levels. And a game that makes it literally impossible to achieve that, well, it has no business being on the market. Show less

This game sets you up to fail. There are too many customers at once and earning money inside the game is far too difficult. It’s not like it gets difficult in later levels it starts out too difficult. I am not purchasing it.

Totally agree with the rest of the other reviewers. The animals are cute, and I like the comic book scenes, but the actual game? I didn't like the pop up mini games. I would be trying to click on an action item and a mini game would pop up so my click wouldn't register and I would have to redo it. Frustrating.
