I buy every one of these. Does fill the whole screen on my computers. My only wish is that the newer games would have a better balance of complicated to easy games. Seems like they have almost all complex and I love the variety.

Just kind of a stress relieving exercise that still requires focus in the higher levels. When I saw what the game was I almost uninstalled it without trying it, once I tried it I was sad when the free trial ended.

Recently I played the newest game by this developer called Modern Art and I fell in love with that game, yes, even more than Pixel Art! The colors are textured like a true oil painting and the completed pictures are true works of art...I guess they are Modern works of Art lol.

I've been happy that Pixel Art and Paint by Numbers has been offered on Mac before PC but for the last several game versions I have complained that the screen is in a small windowed box at the bottom left. The screen itself is still full-sized but the image picture is a square at the bottom left which is really annoying so until someone fixes it, I can't give 5-stars!

There's not a whole lot to have to figure out, it's about as uncomplicated and basic as it gets so as long as someone can recognize numbers, they should be able to play! Pixel Art is a computer version of Paint by Numbers. Each pixel has a number and you chose the corresponding color bubble from the palette (also numbered) on the right side, and you simply left click to fill in all the numbers with the correct color, you can hold the mouse button and swipe through large groupings as well.

There is a Slider Bar that allows you to zoom in & out (there's a "fit" tab as well) you can also move the entire page around by right-clicking and dragging. There is an auto-fill feature that will fill in large groups of pixels in a particular color by double-clicking, but that feature has to recharge after each use, besides, it's more satisfying to color them yourself. The last feature is a slider bar that allows you to change the color of the background, it really only allows you to change the colors in shades of grey to black. (but the newer games have added a full-color scale yea!)

I am happy to see a new addition to the Pixel Art collection. It has some lovely images that are colored appropriately, creating more of a piece of art rather than a basic, flat drawing. We really need more of the intricate pieces that display the shading and tones that create depth and add interest to the paintings. The Pixel Art Series is a very nice, relaxing way to spend some time after a busy day. I do enjoy the painting very much, even with the ez-pz images that I complain about. I found nothing, really, that kept me from buying Pixel Art 11. It offered the same as all the others that I own.

I always like the colors, but wish there was a wider variety and more images. I also think it would be helpful to have a better pointer. A larger, not-blurry finished image would be nice and animal, nature and sealife would be a great addition IF they have a natural look to them.

There are many color/paint games out there and I don't understand why we seldom get any on Big Fish. Knowing they are available to Mac users and the PC users are left out, just ruffles my feathers. I really like what I have sampled elsewhere, Modern Art being one of the best. However, I will never stray from BF to purchase any game, so I truly wish they would make an effort to supply us with these art "games".

Fun for all ages. I enjoy "painting" without dealing with the muss and fuss, and expense of supplies. Maybe not a big deal for others, but for me it's a whole lot of enjoyment. If you've not yet tried it, give the demo a whirl. Show less

I love Pixel Art and have bought all games from this series and the other paint-by-numbers that BFG has offered. These games are relaxing and enjoyable.
I use a screen that provides a work space area that is about 16" x11" and blow up sections so the squares are about 1" x 1" so I can see the numbers and gray areas clearly. I am sad that many of the new puzzles have so many different numbers in ...Show more

I love Pixel Art and have bought all games from this series and the other paint-by-numbers that BFG has offered. These games are relaxing and enjoyable.
I use a screen that provides a work space area that is about 16" x11" and blow up sections so the squares are about 1" x 1" so I can see the numbers and gray areas clearly. I am sad that many of the new puzzles have so many different numbers in this small of area or the numbers are few but done 1 block at a time scattered in the square. This application of scattered 1 block colors leaves the final picture so pixelated that it is hard to see. I did a section that had 28 different colors in this size area.
The pictures that you can complete can be beautiful, if they would put less colors in an area and make the colors in connected squares a little larger. With this many squares in this small of an area, sometimes it takes 5 hours to complete. I love the length of time to complete a picture but all the selecting of different colors in a small area is disappointing..
I will continue to buy paint-by-numbers and look forward to more. Show less

I love these Pixel arts-gives me a break from my other hobbies. My only complaint is the developer must not have much creativity. I am 66 years old and I don't want to do a cow, a bunch of rocks, a paint brush. For the money we are paying we should get quality pictures. I only end up doing half of them and that is stretching it. It is the same with the other Pixel Arts offered. You have to do the ...Show more

I play these Pixel Art games on my large-screen mac. And up until now they filled the screen. With these last two, even at full screen setting, they are just about 1/4 of the screen. So, if you're looking to play these on a large monitor, don't waste your time. Go back to Pixel Art 8 - I think that was the last one that had a complete full screen.

I don't recommend this game.
