Many thanks for this lovely series and the abundance of levels that provide such great enjoyment. Didn't have to think twice about purchasing Small Islanders. I jumped right in and today's sale made it easy on the old pocketbook. This was just what I needed to spruce up a dreary, rainy day!

I love the story which tells of a Girl Scout joining a Boy Scout sailing event. A storm shipwrecks her on a deserted island but she isn't alone for long. 4 sweet island guardians show up to lend some help and our Girl Scout can find comfort in her otherwise dire situation. The storyline was a nice addition, as it was in Forest Spirits.

I like the way the grid fills up with the picture. Though, recognizable, the images are labeled and are all delightful. The colors are bright, but not overly so, which makes the tones more appealing to me. A nice variety, too. There are 6 tile choices, pretty basic styles, but fun to try them all throughout the game. I really appreciate that they are large-sized, making it easier on my eyes. You are allowed 4 errors and the hint and help features are not fancy, Adventure Mosaics isn't loaded with extra stuff like other mosaic games but it makes no difference in the quality or function of the game. It was all fine and there were no tech issues to interrupt the fun.

There are items to collect along the way and 10 pretty wallpapers you can set and enjoy. The music is quite pleasant. There is an Easy and Advanced Mode. I usually switch back and forth as the challenge changes, as I travel further into the game. My nonogram skills are not at expert level, but I so much enjoy trying to improve them. I am so addicted to these games and find them relaxing and frustrating and fun, all at the same time.

I highly recommend this series and hope to see more from this developer, who does a stellar job in this genre. Show less

The numbers are clear and easy to see. There's two levels of difficulty and the grids are a challenge but not so much that you get fed up with restarting.

This is a good example of the genre.

This version was very glitchy on my computer and it kept pausing the game and taking me to my regular computer screen. The game would still be running and all I had to do was click the game's icon on the taskbar, but it happened 4-5 times during the demo alone.

Yes, the mosaics are easy as some have stated, but on the other hand, it does have an Advanced mode so that should make it a tad more challenging for most. I am really disappointed that you can't exit the game mid-stream without losing your progress and you have to start all over.

The mosaics themselves have brilliant colors that are bright and vibrant and of course, they are all farm-related with everything from critters to corn. Although some of the finished puzzles made me take a second look to "see" what I actually created, they are all labeled, a must-have feature for me personally.

You can choose from 6 various Tilesets and there are two different Hint options, one that fills a single random cell, and one that fills in a cross-formation (your choice) You can earn up to 3-stars and replay any level

I play a lot of these types of games and really enjoy them. However, when there's no puzzle element or, in this case, very little, it's just not fun for me. This game is an example of that. I bought it, kept waiting for the challenge to happen but it never came.

I don't recommend this game.
