I was happy to see there were no 5x5 starter grids with mandatory tutorial. A definite plus for me. It went straight in with a 15x15.

I was very happy to see a 20x25 grid near the end of the tutorial. I hope that means they get bigger and better as the game progresses.

This is your regular type nonogram puzzles. The levels vary in size and some of them present a real challenge. The only thing I didn't like was that the numbers around the grid don't change color you represent the color you are using, so you have to be careful.

I recommend this game!

Mosaics are one of my favorite game genres and this one does not disappoint. It is harder than a lot of the easier more colorful games. I see that as a big plus. I hope to see more games like this from this developer.

This is a good, solid game.
My biggest negative is that if you run off track a little while dragging to fill in a large area, it disappears. I have other games where it just does whatever you wanted up to the the point where you went out of line. Very useful when you have unsteady hands and large chunks of the same color. But it's a minor annoyance.

This is a good, solid game.

The other negative would be that it starts at the same page each time, making you scroll through all the finished ones. An overview page that showed all the different groups at once would be easier, or to open at the last unfinished game.
But in general, very good mechanics, and starts right out with decent sized games with a little challenge to them. Building up to trickier ones. An excellent buy. Show less

Nothing fancy here but it is fine for your basic mosaic entertainment and relaxation. The music is soothing but I had to turn it down, became like a drone after a while. Everything worked well. It comes with brief instructions. There are 2 game modes, Normal and Advanced and a good cursor.

There are 15 categories with 10 levels in each. You must complete each category in order before the next levels will unlock. We have Animals, Plants, People, Professions, Holidays, Transportation, Home, Clothing, Hobbies, Food, Places, Fairytales, School & Work, Farm, Weather. I didn't care for the images I finished in the demo. Hopefully they are better later on, they weren't very artistic and without the super colors we all love in quality mosaic games.

The 12 tile choices are not very attractive, no bright and shiny which I found disappointing, but it was fun trying the various styles. 6 errors are allowed and 2 tools give you a hand if you get stuck. The Brush reveals 1 cell and the Bucket uncovers a 3x3 area. There is a 3-star goal and up to 6 colors for each image. They aren't spectacular and some of them don't stand out well against the grid's background color.

The Timer is just FYI, you're not trying to beat the clock unless you replay to improve your time. I do like knowing how long I've worked on a puzzle. Normal Mode is great for the demo in the interest of time, but I like switching to Advanced sometimes to test my skills in the games I own. I'm not an expert at nonograms so Normal is a good way to learn. I like the strategy and challenge of mosaics. Seeing the images come together is fun, some I can't figure out but the labels take care of that little problem. Show less

I appreciate the effort this developer puts in to their games and they do listen but I have a major problem with this game.

Half way through a level during the demo my phone rang and I closed the game and when I returned I had to start at the beginning of the level. As much as I enjoy this developers games I am afraid I will not play a mosaic game that I can not save, not even an option to ...Show more

As much as I enjoy this developers games I am afraid I will not play a mosaic game that I can not save, not even an option to save. As the early levels were quite a challenge I can imagine they will get even more challenging

This is a shame because it was quite challenging.
Try the demo see what you think but it needs a bit of tweeking for me Show less

I enjoyed the first few pictures but then the grid field grew from 15 x 20 to 20 x 25 -- making the squares smaller -- so harder for me to manage.

Otherwise the game is great.

I don't recommend this game.

I enjoyed Prime Mosaic, but I can't recommend it.

The game play is excellent, I like the feel of it, and the puzzles are tricky enough to keep me paying attention. The pictures are necessarily crude, and that's alright because the pictures aren't the point of the game. There are 150 puzzles, which makes for a good, long game.

I can't recommend Prime Mosaic for two reasons:

1. There is no save option. The game saves the puzzles after you complete them and that's it. If you have to leave in the middle of a puzzle and shut down the game, it will not save your work on the puzzle, and it doesn't let you save manually. When you come back to the puzzle, you have to start all over.

2. Because you can't save your work, whenever you start it up, the game takes you to the first page. You then have to scroll through the pages to get to the one that has the next puzzle to solve. There are 15 pages, so if you left off on a puzzle on page 14, you have a lot of scrolling to do. This isn't a terrible flaw, just a very annoying one.

I tolerated these things and enjoyed the game. Maybe you can, too. I don't feel I can recommend a game that's missing a fundamental feature like a save option you can use whenever and wherever you want, or an automatic save function when you shut down the game.

Again, I enjoyed the game. I hope there will be more Prime Mosaic games in the future with a save option; I would be happy to play them. Show less

On the third level the game stopped. Poof, just quit, no error message, and would not start up again.

I did like the first two levels, but I cannot recommend this game.
