If you've played any of the 14 previous games in this title, you know what to expect, and this is more of the same. It's pretty, it's calming, and it requires little brainwork -- exactly what I need some days. Not sure what triggered all the negative reviews; this one's no different from the rest, really.

This is my least favourite series of all the painting games available. There are too many plates. I've completed the first level and checked out the pictures available going forward. There may be just enough good ones to persuade me to buy but is it worth it if I'll be skipping numerous plates? I don't know. Another grievance I have with this dev is all the flat white on white. This is my least favourite series of all the painting games available. There are too many plates. I've completed the first level and checked out the pictures available going forward. There may be just enough good ones to persuade me to buy but is it worth it if I'll be skipping numerous plates? I don't know. Another grievance I have with this dev is all the flat white on white. Very off putting. I was actually grateful for the grey snow! Another is how heavy my mouse feels when painting. At least twice as heavy as other painting games where my mouse seems to flow. This game does nothing good for my tennis elbow! I have elected to give this game 3 stars throughout so 'OK' but I realise I have a lot of negativity about the game so I'm downgrading to 2 stars. As always, try for yourself. Show less

Still have to complete the entire first level. There's a color wheel so you can change the background, a cell counter, Free Paint Mode, no-refill time for hints, and the zoom feature. That's it for the good stuff.

The pics are very juvenile. There are so many lines in them that it's impossible to achieve any depth. The colors are not at all pretty and very similar colors next to each other ...Show more

The pics are very juvenile. There are so many lines in them that it's impossible to achieve any depth. The colors are not at all pretty and very similar colors next to each other eliminate detail. Whoever chooses the color combinations, does a horrible job of it. The first 4 are Christmas images with lots of blue, purple, orange and yellow and the snow is grey. Not my idea of festive but something a youngster might like. Had to click on areas numerous times to apply color, the same to pick up from scroll. It was especially grueling when coloring the teeny little areas. Wasn't really worth all the trouble!

You would think that 15 games would be enough time to make improvements that are so obviously needed. I guess, first, the reviews need to be acknowledged before any changes will be made. It's hard to believe that someone really thinks this game is perfect the way it is. Yet, they do! There's nothing here but childish drawings, basic colors that are just kind of "off" and no use of imagination anywhere,

Some may be very satisfied with the art style but for me it's not even a consideration as a purchase or for free. Sorry! Show less

"A Brush with Greatness"??? I chose to "paint" the Firetruck scene because it was the only available image that involved coloring the entire scene. (because the developers make you finish your plate before you can have dessert) I really don't know how to describe all the thoughts running through my mind right now!

"A Brush with Greatness"??? I chose to "paint" the Firetruck scene because it was the only available image that involved coloring the entire scene. (because the developers make you finish your plate before you can have dessert) I really don't know how to describe all the thoughts running through my mind right now!

Trust me when I say that this is a picture straight from the coloring book "Trucks" that my 2-year-old grandson just got for his birthday...along with a new set of Jumbo crayons! I didn't know whether to get angry or burst out laughing!? Moving along, I decided I was already dedicated, besides, Toodles was nowhere to be found, so onward I marched, Hi-Ho!

As I filled in the extremely large areas of my preschool firetruck scene, inch by inch, number by number, I began to get curiousier and curiouser. It was almost as if I was reverse-coloring because I was filling in most of the scene's background with shades of white...and I'm talking about the main chunk of the scenery, 90% of the image itself!

When I colored the clothing of the people or traffic cones, etc., I used the same color on each section with no color variation, the colors were just separated with thick black lines...oh, never mind, I finally get it! This is exactly how the page looks in the "Trucks" coloring book because toddlers never actually fill in the background on coloring book pages, right? hmmm, I see what you've done here...very realistic, Bob :)

I can't wait to paint my little firetruck in the new Free Coloring Section, I sure hope there's a picture of a bulldoze to unlock in the next set of images, Hot Dog!

Based on purchased game.
After buying so many paint by numbers games here on Big Fish, I had much higher expectations for this, because the other games only got better (pictures, colors, textures) with each game release. For example, Art by Numbers 15 is so much fun, and Art Coloring 2 is so beautiful and relaxing and satisfying with imagery that the developer obviously took great care to create, that I often go back and replay those games...this one will go into the dustbin of bad choices.

The background color becomes whatever color you choose for the target cells. It doesn't work well with this game because the designs aren't solid, so what you might think is a cell to color is just the background. Lots of aimlessly clicking around to find the cells to color is really not fun.

Paint by Numbers 15 is a total regression back to basic coloring-book images with zero texture or color blends. I don't get it. You still can't look at the images until you finish the first group of eight, to see what you would be paying for.

It doesn't get any better as the next images are revealed.
Very disappointing. I feel cheated, considering what it could have been. Show less

Stor-stor skuffelse. Burde klassificeres som børnespil, eller i det mindste til helt uerfarne spillere. Som nr. 15 i en ellers god serie, er det skandaløst at udgive sådan noget møg.

If only I had paid attention to the one review this had the day I bought it... I thought how can it be that bad... after all its the 15th in the series...and they were all pretty good... I "played" them all... this one is boring ... out of season and basically great for a child at Christmas time... but not for adults... I didn't get to finish the first "page"...before the trial ran out so I didn't ...Show more
