I've been enjoying this game in the relaxed mode. Nice story, good powerups, beautiful graphics, fun trying to get the treasures!! I don't need a timer, I just enjoy playing the game at my own pace. Great game!!!

No timer for me is okay because I'd love to play the game with my own pace. The graphics and story are good. There's also a battle ship mini-game, it's new from the dev. The only problem maybe the tiles that are a bit small for me. Hope they work on it.

Overall I enjoyed the game. The challenge could be a little harder although I never can win a fight (lol). The graphics were good. I bought it after the trial.

This game has a great pirate vibe, gameworld and story,
I appreciate the dev added lot of new things,
Treasure hunt, warship mini game, upgrade ship, etc
BUT.. the tiles and chips are too small for me, maybe its the deal breaker… spend my demo version for the good story anyway.
Just try it before you buy.

I played this for several hours today and really enjoyed myself. The music is great and that keeps me coming back just so that I can hear some more of it. Another reviewer said that she felt the timer was so generous that there might as well not have been a timer. I found that to be true for the first twenty levels or so (I chose timed mode) and after that I had several levels where I ran out of time and had to redo the level. Now I am wondering if I will make it through the whole game in timed mode. And I have played many match 3 games in the past.

Anyway, I am enjoying the game and finding it to be a very pleasant diversion. It doesn't do anything new but what it does, it does very well. Happy gaming. :-) Show less

This game is different from developers usual format. Here you don't have the option of buying your power-ups -- they are given to you on each level and if you don't use them they are gone. Also you have to do battles which I really don't care for.

I usually buy all the titles by this developer but I'm disappointed by this one. The treasure mini-game isn't easy and there are no instructions. If you don't play the treasure game when it is available, you don't get to play it at all? That's not fun. If you lose the treasure game you don't get another chance to get the treasure? I enjoy just clearing the boards so timer was never an issue. Play ...Show more

But this has small tiles, odd listing of what tiles to clear (i.e., says clear gold bars and diamonds for level, but there are NO gold bars OR diamonds, and it's the usual clear different background or blocked tiles... very odd. Play just ok, but would rather play one of the very few more interesting, larger tiles games from this developer if I had nothing but free time.

I don't recommend this game.
