I love that this is in widescreen. I loved the graphics, the music-very festive- the customization was excellent. You can change the background on the playing field, you can change the shape and color of the tiles and also the images displayed on them. I would love to have gotten this game but for me the tiles were too small. I do wish they had allowed you to change the size in the customization. ...Show more

I really enjoyed playing. Everything is excellent - graphics, music , customization! I loved the winter atmosphere and the spirit of Christmas. You can change the background as well as the shape and color of the tiles! And I strongly advice you trying it! You will have lots of fun! Merry Christmas!!!

I enjoyed playing this version of Mahjong because it was a seasonal version unlike the other versions of Mahjong

I must have played a different game than the one that was reviewed as being not very related to Christmas. From the tile sets, which included multiple types of Christmas trees, Santa Claus, various Kris Kringles, reindeer, lots of Santa Claus hats, etc., to the graphics surrounding the game board itself, I saw nothing but Christmas. I must have played a different game than the one that was reviewed as being not very related to Christmas. From the tile sets, which included multiple types of Christmas trees, Santa Claus, various Kris Kringles, reindeer, lots of Santa Claus hats, etc., to the graphics surrounding the game board itself, I saw nothing but Christmas. I played the entire demo and played both styles of mahjong, matching pairs and matching tiles at the bottom of the board. I played the untimed version as I play to relax, not get stressed out trying to beat a clock. With these multiple ways of playing, as well as many different board layouts, there is a lot of variety built into the game. The graphics are crisp and very colorful. This is a solid, seasonal mahjong game that I recommend. But always try before you buy, as everyone's tastes are different. Show less

Let me start by saying that Mahjong is my least favorite game genre, however, if they have a lot of exciting features like Legendary Slide, for example, I like them. Unfortunately, this one doesn't have a lot to offer and the graphics are rather dull and unappealing. There is one tileset that is supposed to be Christmas-themed, but other than a blue and a red Santa tile, the rest of the tiles are just winter-themed and not very Christmassy.

You can customize the Tiles by choosing Squared or Rounded Corners, select from 5 colors for the Tiles' Border, an icy-blue or wooden style background and you can choose the graphics of the Tilesets with a Traditional Mahjong style, 2 Numbered styles, a Flower/Garden theme, a Pink Ocean-theme or a Christmas/Winter tileset.

There are two Mahjong Modes available, a Classic Mode or traditional mode where you remove identical tiles that aren't blocked by other tiles or a Matching mode where you match tiles that correspond with the tile images shown in the bottom frame.

There are 120 Levels with various Tile Layouts. The goal is to remove tiles to expose the Lock and Key tiles. Once you match the specified number of Lock and Key tiles, the game ends even if other tiles remain on the board. You can earn up to 3 Stars per level, depending on how many moves it takes to remove the Lock and Key tiles, and you can replay the levels as often as you want, to try for a better star rating.
