This is a truly lovely game that I had to purchase right away. The story is sweet, the images emerge in beautiful, vivid colors that really make them pop! We have tile choices which always is fun for me, as I enjoy trying them all. There are 2 kinds of hints, an advanced and easy mode, and 3 stars as our goal for each level. You can't imagine the torture I endure at times, replaying until I go bonkers striving for that achievement ( lol )! I am totally addicted to these mosaic games. Fun, relaxing, challenging all at the same time and the great number of levels makes it even better. There are even wallpaper backgrounds that can be downloaded in this one.

The games from this developer are always choice. It is obvious that they care about their creations. I wish others would get out of their ruts and put more love and effort into their games. There would be 5-star reviews all over the place! Adventure Mosaics: Forest Spirit is a winner to be sure, in my opinion.

If you've side-stepped mosaic games because they look confusing or difficult, don't let them intimidate you. I avoided them for the longest time, but once I dove in I became a mosaic addict. My skills are not expert but I enjoy the challenge of bringing the images to life, knowing I can replay all I want and feel a great accomplishment when I succeed. I think mosaic games are wonderful for improving concentration and testing one's patience and strategy. For me, loads of fun. I do hope you'll give the demo a whirl, you may find it easier than you imagined. Show less

I absolutely love this developer because they clearly pour their heart and soul into the games they create and I've yet to see a cookie-cutter game come down the pike from them! I loved the color choices and I loved the pictorial adventure storyline concept, I even loved how the pictures were inside squares to represent an entire landscape image. The only complaint I have is that the biggest percentage of the Mosaic levels are a tad too easy-breezy.

There are 200 Mosaic puzzles that can be played in a Casual mode where the numbers are crossed off one by one, or and Advanced mode where the numbers are crossed off once the entire row or column has been completed. There are 6 Tile style options, including my favorite Lego Tiles, and there are 10 downloadable Wallpaper backgrounds included!

There are two Hint types available, one that fills in a Random Cell, and one that allows you to choose a 3 Across & 3 Down (in a Plus + pattern) area. You can earn up to 3-Stars per level, one for Completing the Level, one for Making no more than 1 Mistake, and one for making No Mistakes at all.

Mosaics are really addicting puzzle games and they aren't difficult to learn, if you can count, you can master them! (assuming they are based on logic because some are literally Guesser Griddlers) The Mosaic Grid has Rows & Columns and there are Numbers or groups of numbers on the edges of each of those rows & columns, each group of numbers must be separated by at least one empty cell. You simply fill in or cross off cells by process of elimination, sometimes it's easier to figure out where a filled-in cell isn't possible, for example, a 2-cell slot can't contain the required 3-cell number so those cells would be crossed out. Larger numbers are the easiest to figure out, if there are 20 cells in a row or column and the number of required cells is 18, you would fill in all but the first and last 2 cells, (16 cells) until, by process of elimination, you figure out where the final 2 filled in cells go because those 16 cells will be filled in regardless of where they begin or end...that sounds way more complicated then it actually is! You really need to get a "hands-on" the puzzle to see for yourself just how easy, and addicting, they can be :) Show less

I enjoy the puzzles, but also enjoyed buying the items to finish the room. However, that was completed WAY before the end of the levels, yet I am still accumulating coins. Is there any purpose to them after that? I haven't finished the game yet, but am a bit stymied by the purpose of earning coins with nothing to buy.

I recommend this game!

I enjoyed this very much. Played in hard mode, which made it more difficult to start each picture. But it would be more fun in the long run if they left some blanks in the final picture. The last few colors could be filled in blindly. So many mosaics have such repetitive, bland colors that I found these refreshing. I totally lost the story line until the end. As a mosaic game goes, this is excellent. With 200 puzzles, you'll be playing for a long time. The background graphics are beautiful. The story is weak, but not terrible, and the addition of decorating a room with items purchased by finding coins in the puzzles is a nice touch.

As a mosaic game goes, this is excellent. With 200 puzzles, you'll be playing for a long time. The background graphics are beautiful. The story is weak, but not terrible, and the addition of decorating a room with items purchased by finding coins in the puzzles is a nice touch.

I have two main complaints. One is that I bought all the items in the room when the game was less than half finished, which made the coins found in the rest of the puzzles completely pointless. The other, which genuinely irritated me at times, is that occasionally the boxes left to be filled in are the exact same color as the ones which have been determined to be wrong for that part of the puzzle. This sometimes caused me to click on those boxes with the wrong mouse button, earning me an error. I'm somewhat visually impaired and this felt like I was being punished for not being able to differentiate between two *extremely* similar shades of brown.

Other than that, however, it's a very enjoyable and pleasant game and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes mosaics. Show less

One person's "colorful" is another one's "garish," and I prefer somewhat less vivid shades. The divisions between the spaces were hard to see, as were the dark numbers against the dark background. During the demo hour, I was disappointed that the story didn't seem to continue after the introduction. On the positive side, the music was nice, play was smooth, had no lag when manually changing ...Show more

On the positive side, the music was nice, play was smooth, had no lag when manually changing colors, and the rows auto-filled correctly (I played on the "Casual" setting), unlike the play in some other nonogram games I've tried. This is NOT an equal to a "Fantasy Mosaics" game (they're the sine qua non of this genre in my opinion), but please give it a try if you like nonograms. Show less
