Not only is this puzzle not challenging, there is no point to the game. I joined BF in 2006, and I have always been a fan, but for the last year Brain Teasers and Puzzles are far and few between and when they are offered, they are games like this. So sad!

I don't recommend this game.

General:
You are the swimmer with a blue cap. Avoid the swimmers with the red caps (and the obstacles in later levels.) You swim grid square to grid square to avoid them.
It reminded me of a cross between Tic-Tac-Toe with one of those colored jump the peg table games, but avoiding pegs instead of removing them. We’ve seen this as a mini game in some of the HOPA’s.

General:
You are the swimmer with a blue cap. Avoid the swimmers with the red caps (and the obstacles in later levels.) You swim grid square to grid square to avoid them.
It reminded me of a cross between Tic-Tac-Toe with one of those colored jump the peg table games, but avoiding pegs instead of removing them. We’ve seen this as a mini game in some of the HOPA’s.

I liked the music & the fact they let you play any level of the 7 chapters out of order. They sort of train you by making the levels harder as you progress. I can’t say I liked much else.

Now for some levity:
-I quickly grew tired of bumping into those red cappers as I desperately tried to reach the pool ladder so I could get out and sip that tropical drink on that pool side table.
- Give me a water balloon to toss at the dude with the whistle because he was using it *way* too much. Yikes, he was annoying.
- The entire time I played I wished I had a red cap. Clearly they are way better swimmers.

So my endgame here would be to add a great white shark to this pool and watch it play out like the game Tasty Blue. Show less

My loyalty and enthusiasm to Big Fish is waning. I keep telling myself just hold on because some fun, good games will come along soon. This game might be slightly challenging but soon becomes boring. And so I wait and say maybe tomorrow will be the day for a great game, somehow I doubt it. So sad to see a great company go downhill.

I don't recommend this game.

I may very well be in the minority here but this is truly a low quality game. In my opinion it has no entertainment value at all and the graphics are horrible.

Don't pass up the demo, you may regret it. On the other hand this may be that unique little cup of tea you've been searching for. I, for one, am really disappointed in Big Fish these days. Show less

All these swimming issues could be solved if the pool put up some swim lane ropes...who swims laps horizontally instead of vertically anyway, especially when there is a swimmer swimming vertically like they are supposed to?

In case you haven't figured it out yet, the goal of the game is to move the Blue-capped swimmer one grid square at a time to the exit ladder while other swimmers are zig-zagging in every direction imaginable. Naturally, this is a turn-based game so the goal is to outwit the Red-capped swimmers, or at least anticipate their moves, one square at a time so there won't be a swimmer collision.

In case you're saying "what else does this game have, tell me more pennmom" you're in for a big letdown because after several levels of zig-zagging across pools of various sizes to avoid colliding into a swimmer who seems heck-bent on cutting me off, I threw in my Beach Towel and bailed...even though I secretly wanted to throw my Blue Goggles & Blue Swim Cap at the Red-capped swimmer! This has to be the worse game I have ever tried from BF. To me there was absolutely no fun playing this game. It is very repetitive and some what of a challenge but not enough to make me enjoy it. All I can say is if you feel you must try this game go for it but don't say I did not warn you!

The game over the last two years were gradually declining in quality and this is now speeding up. This game here, reminds me of the frog game, where one has to move frogs from one side to the other. Once you figured it out it's a no-brainer. As is this game here. To make is worse, the graphics are from another time zone, the fun factor is none existent, the only challenge is to find the way out of that game and this is topped by out-dated, cheap and nasty and seemingly from the dark-ages of computer games. Is this the best you can deliver? I thought the recent two disastrous games and the sheer mass of "painting by numbers" where the worst, but with games here BFG has managed to excel on their track-record of offering less than mediocre quality, which makes it harder and harder to use the purchased Games Credits for something even remotely worth the membership fee. I've been a Games Club Member for over ten years and I think it's time to cancel my membership. What is the point spending the fee every month when day after day the quality is going downhill?

Gameplay was dull, lackluster, unengaging, and just pretty much out and out boring.

Call this a hard pass and hope something else swims up that's more worthwhile. Show less
