I like these type of games.
You can progress quite quickly without using hints.
Good puzzles, some more challenging than others and some quite different ones to any I have played before.
Quite entertaining and easy to follow what is going on and what is required.
I played the demo to the end and now I want to see what happens next, so I have bought the full version.

I recommend this game!

I gave it a challenging rate because the instructions for the challenging special features to do, they have very poor instructions if any at all. So, you can spend quite a bit of time just trying to figure out how to do them. Other wise, I think over all it, it isn't a totally bad game. I gave it a challenging rate because the instructions for the challenging special features to do, they have very poor instructions if any at all. So, you can spend quite a bit of time just trying to figure out how to do them. Other wise, I think over all it, it isn't a totally bad game. The story line it good, the graphics are not bad at all, the map is a life saver as well as a time saver to know where you are to go. I give it a thumps up, yes just 1 not two due to the lack of instructions. So if you haven't played a game like this before you "are positively" going to have a hard time doing the challenging special thing to defeat the ghost & play the other challenges. Show less

There's a crash bug glitch in chapter 4 after you put the photo album on the table. After relauching the game, the player is then stuck in 2 locations "Nancy's Room & Thermal Lake.. With no where to go to finish the 4th chapter. It also crashes in the dark maze area too.. Is there a way to fix these crash bugs?

I didn't think this game was as dreadful as the last several games Domini has offered. Although the gameplay is still really cookie-cutter and has exactly the same features as every game developed by Domin, I thought the plot was better than most and I was glad to see that they were attempting to re-create a "Haunted Hotel" scenario. Hopefully, they will branch out a little more and take larger steps towards games that aren't so G-rated?

If Domini would just make their games a little more challenging they wouldn't be so bad...why does every game have tasks that are solved by finding and placing objects that are available in the same scene (occasionally two) before the next scene becomes available? There's absolutely nothing to have to figure out when all you have to do is click on exactly 3 active zoom zone areas per scene to solve the task or find the correct inventory item?! The first zoom zone may require finding a knife to cut something or needs a code to open a lock, etc. but you'll never, ever have to wait or meander through several scenes before finding the necessary object or code because it's always available within that scene or occasionally the next. Having to remember where a tool was required once you find it was part of the challenge in games from the past...and it's one of the features that made those games so much better than they are today!

Holy Sheet Albert Hall! Congratulations! You are now the proud owner of a Haunted Mansion! This is no ordinary mansion, this mansion belonged to your dearly-departed grandparents and good 'ole grandpa needs your help finding someone special...not just some old fling he dug up...he's looking for Granny Ghost...once he finds her this will be one heck of a get-together, better than an I Scream Social! I sure hope he finds her because he has Mist her so much! I'd better renew my Haunting License before taking on this case! One thing's for sure, granny's not in the Living Room! Overall, it was a pleasant game. Graphics were pretty good. The story line was decent. The only thing about the storyline I didn't like was the so called "twist". I won't spoil it. The games were fun. It was a fun game but not one I would probably play again.

I recommend this game!

Quoting MMDGaston, "I lasted 8 min. before uninstalling this train wreck. I have zero idea where this game was trying to go as there was sooooooo much busy things to do just to get started. Sorry, not for me."
Eight minutes is about how long I lasted as well. I didn't know one thing to do without needing a hint. Definitely not my idea of a fun time.
I don't recommend this game.

This game was too frustrating in places, as well as boring, with an all-too familiar story line for me to enjoy. One of my favorite puzzles is mixing the right amount of a liquid by pouring from one container into another. I was really excited to see that particular mini-game in this. However, it was so poorly executed by the developers that it just turned into total frustration. I ended up skipping it, and I really don't like to skip a mini-game. I just closed out the game after that and don't intend to go back. I'd given it several second chances, and that was the last one for me. I wish I'd gotten something else. This just wasn't a fun game for me. In fact, it even put me in a bad mood for awhile. I play games to relax. Not stress out. Show less
