I have all the Clutters starting with #7, and although this is my first review (of anything), I've enjoyed them all very much. I like some of the puzzles and games better than others but play them all and never give up on the difficult ones.

I have all the Clutters starting with #7, and although this is my first review (of anything), I've enjoyed them all very much. I like some of the puzzles and games better than others but play them all and never give up on the difficult ones.
I appreciate all the customization options and find these games to be a nice break from the adventure games, as you're able to stop anytime and not later try to remember what you were going to do with that broken sword and duct tape. This #12 edition (SE) has a great mix of the interestingly new and the comfortably familiar. As with all the others, I also very much enjoy the non-game images, quotations, and personal stories. I even jot down terms and ideas to look up later, so I've actually learned a bit, quite painlessly.
I hope I see more of these games and that they continue to have the same fun spirit and kind soul. Show less

Yes, this is the same review that I wrote for the CE but this game is a winner in my book and needs a fair trial before you dismiss it. I don't do reviews very often but this game got me motivated. There is so much variety and so many options that it seems that it should appeal to most players. If there is an aspect that you don't like, you can turn it off. I know a lot of you feel intimidated by the massive amounts of features and the recently changed Main Menu. Joe has added a Help Book that covers tips & Tricks as well as How To Navigate. Just click on the Book icon on the top right of the screen :)

You Can Choose from 3 Cursor sizes in Red, Green, and Blue and you can also customize the following:
*Timer: enable/disable timer.
*Starter Hints: enable/disable Match Hints if you stall a little too long.
*Unlimited Hints: enable/disable unlimited hints mode.
*Click Penalty: enable/disable penalties for misclicks.
*Slider Puzzles (in Quest Mode) allow you to bypass Slider Puzzles.
*Tips & Tricks: enable/disable commentary w/ tips & tricks.
*Colorize Toggle: de-color your clutter world.
*Shadow Toggle: enable/disable Silhouettes in pop-up boxes.
*Story: enable/disable the Story Joe has worked so hard on?
*Tall & Wide: enable/disable the latest Clutter variation, never!
*Chaos Toggle: enable/disable the hectic chaos of moving objects, demons begone!

There are over 1700 puzzles with some old and new Clutter styles such as See 2, Match 2 (match 2 identical objects) Stackers-in Easy & Hard Modes (variations of buttons), Coin Matches, Cartoony Animals, Spinning Buttons, Classic Clutter, Spinning Spirals, Rotation Madness, Meet The Singletons. Clutter Jong, Picture Quest and so much more!

EXTRA CLUTTER VERSIONS (CE & SE version)
*Box Quotes: Reveal quotes by changing letters
*Spinning Spirals: Find matches in Spirals that Spin.
*Rotation Madness: Find items with identical rotations.
*Singletons: Find the 1 item without a match (nearly impossible)
*Clutter Jong: Mahjong style of Clutter
*PotPouri: Stackers, Fuzzies, Voids, and Accordions.
*Clutter Gaps: Swap squares to match halves
*Cartoony Craziness: Clutter with cartoon characters and animals
*Clutter pics: Clutter matching pictures, hexagons, circles, oblongs, etc.
*Sliders: Infamous Clutter slider puzzles, drag to create images.

The only extra's you really get with the CE version is 3 extra lands to discover, and a Hidden 4 Page Story by Joe. As I said above, I will probably never complete over 1700 levels, the next game will be released before I could ever complete them so I wish I had opted to purchase this SE version.

This is an average entry in the series. First of all, I didn't like the music. Additionally, I couldn't find any strong novelty here. However, it's Clutter, so you should always pay attention!

I'm partial to the sliders and box quotes now because the classic clutter game has become a joke - it's been the SAME graphics throughout every version, with very few additions.

Even though Joe changed the controls a few games back, I still had to take time in the trial to figure out his convoluted icons. Why this hasn't been fixed is beyond me.
It's the same game as the prior version. And the one before that.
Sliders are still a few pretty nature pics with mostly dumb screenshots and boring repetitive patterns.
Joe should release a box quote game, or a classic clutter game, or a slider game, but this massive quantity of games just found me sifting through everything to find one I wanted to play. Waste of time.
Anyway, sorry Joe. I liked your original concept. Not this. Show less

I have lots of the Clutter games. I couldn't get through the free hour on this one. I searched and searched and couldn't find where the options/settings are to turn off the awful music and to make it windowed. I want the option to have unlimited time too. I want a game that offers me the choice to make it relaxing instead of stressful.

All I get is an error message after downloading, so can't even start to play. I used to love these clutter games. Very disappointed.
