I enjoy playing games by this developer and I enjoy playing games that get harder than easier because I enjoy a challenge. It makes a change playing a game by this developer based on mythology rather than the general types of games that come through
I recommend this game!

I really like this game. It has everything except one thing. The option for limited moves instead or with timed.
I've asked this of the developers multiple times but to no avail.
Please, if it's not too much to ask, add 'limited moves' to the options. It would make it much more relaxing.
I bought the game. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars because that option is missing.
I recommend this game!

There is nothing wrong with this game. It is a standard match 3 with either relaxed or timed option. The tiles changed from previous games by this developer and so does the story. If you liked previous games by this developer you will like this one.
I recommend this game!

.. with no imagination, smaller tiles, storyline that intrudes (for those of us that don't play Match 3 for a 'story' anyway).
I'm sure all of you here have played at least a couple of these, so you already know whether you will like them or not. Just such a shame that the developer shows no creativity in the actual game play here.
I don't recommend this game.

It's up to Stan to deal with the gods and calm the chaos. The story is different, kept me interested. Graphics were nicely hand-drawn, sharp and colorful.
Not much in the options. Relaxed and Timed Modes only, no custom cursor which doesn't matter anyway. We have a clock in Relaxed Mode, it times up and I like keeping an eye on my progress. Sometimes less is better, in this case I don't think a bundle of options were necessary. The game seemed fine without them. The board layouts weren't "tricky" in my trial time, the tiles were large and bright. The obstacles presented weren't too much of a threat, I encountered spider webs and ropes, I'm sure more will pop-up later in the game. The morphing tiles are a returning feature and they changed quickly. Gem tiles are collected after falling from bottom of board. There are specific numbers of particular tiles to collect in order to complete the levels.
I earned a couple of bonuses and power-ups. They were adequate but limited, not impressed with the bombs. Other than the storyline and mission involved, the game isn't much different than the others. I had trouble earning stars in Relaxed Mode so went to Timed Mode but is was still a problem. And, unless I missed something, changing modes can only be done by changing your profile. That was not a good thing, so I hope I'm mistaken. Upgrades are purchased with your stars, 4 upgrades per chapter. Acquire them all to move on to the next chapter. It is a slow process as in other games of this type.
I didn't think it was a bad game but being just okay doesn't encourage me to purchase. It is always frustrating when it takes so long to earn whatever, to advance to the next level. I get bored and lose interest which is the big deciding factor here. The game ran smoothly on my PC, music was tolerable, I liked the story. It may be a nice long game with lots more than I what I got in the demo. Let's hope it's a winner for most of you! Show less

I own a few games already by this dev and they all tend to be a lot alike. Same sounds, same mechanics, those popping bubble tiles.... I really dislike those bubble tiles at this point because they're on every single board.
2 modes: Relaxed & timed
A VO narrates the story to moving still pictures about a night watchman (magic man Stan), who works at a museum. It gets vandalized and a time portal opens. The voiceover doesn’t have much inflection in his voice and sounds a bit robotic (again.) From there, the story goes south for me. It becomes more M3 generic with the ancient baddies he is dealing with. The story proceeds without the VO and you click through conversational text. The story advances with the upgrades you apply.
You get the usual amount of power ups so hold onto the small tools to get through the level end, like the other games they make.
You play M3 boards to earn stars to upgrade the vandalized museum room and its broken objects. I really disliked the upgrade items as well as the room itself in this game. The items are **way** too expensive and you can only upgrade about once every 3 M3 boards. The JM M3 that was just offered lets you upgrade every level. Considering how expensive everything else is in life… I wish the dev would throw us a bone & make us M3 rich for once!
**Mild spoiler about an upgrade item**: Somewhere before level 8 you get a dead lion pelt and his paws are bound with rope. ***End spoiler***
I understand this is just a game but I am a huge animal lover; apparently I love casual game animals too.
Also around level 8 the game gets more & more multi-layered blockages to chip through to get through the level.
(+) The M3 boards are full screen with clear tiles. The graphics are clear but cartoonish.
(+) The music was excellent in this game and they changed it often enough. I actually let the music run the entire demo (well done to the composer.)
Many of the game effect sounds are the same though, including that annoying “Briiiinnnnggg” sound (M5 in this one.) with the general play dropping tiles sound. I wish they would change the game effect sounds from series to series at least.
I do really appreciate they ended the VO that says “Stage complete.” And now it quietly displays, “Level clear!”
Baby steps......
My favorite M3s by e-FunSoft are Amanda's Magic Book 3 The Spirit World, and a 2017 game called The Voice From Heaven. Show less

Certainly no comparison to any Jewel Match game. Simple, boring "storyline" that must be skipped. SLOW play and not challenging. It would be OK for a NEW player, but certainly not interesting to an experienced M3 player.

This is just another e-FunSoft Match 3 game, nothing new has been added, and nothing has changed except the title and the story. If you have played any other Match 3 game by this developer, you have basically already played this game, move along cuz there's nothing to see here folks!

This game has the same wooden crates to bust, the same roped items to match, the same artifacts to drop off of the board, and the same golden tiles that require matches on them. Most of the obstacles are just filler features, and unblocking the tiles is never a necessity to progress unless they block other areas of interest. They also got rid of the spiders that everyone seemed to hate but I actually liked them because at least it was somewhat of a challenge.
Two Powerups with various abilities are added at the start of each level. They changed this feature slightly a few games back by not allowing you to purchase the powerups you want. Each powerup comes with a limited amount versus unlimited uses of any powerup once purchased, and/or recharged by filling the Mana Meter. The powerups help you beat levels by removing a 5-tile row, or a 5-tile column, some remove a single tile or chain or remove a 2 x 2 area. Large matches put a bomb on the board, a M5 awards you with a Medium Bomb on the board and a match 6 awards you with a Large Bomb (I never did receive a small bomb!)
You must purchase all 4 World Upgrades to progress to the next Chapter, 5 Chapters total, with the single Star you earn for completing each level. There are no options for the upgraded worlds, such as which building to construct, nor does it allow you to place the building where you want, so it's a boring and meaningless feature for me personally because basically it just allows you to read more text about the saga at hand...not to mention this scenario takes forever before you can move on or skip it.
