I've been buying these games for years, and the way I've made peace with the nearly identical game play is by constantly clicking on Levels to see how many gold cards I need to get out of that location and go to the next. I've been buying these games for years, and the way I've made peace with the nearly identical game play is by constantly clicking on Levels to see how many gold cards I need to get out of that location and go to the next. The strategy can be interesting, collecting enough gold cards to move forward, but for people who love all the bells and whistles of solitaire where you have a lot of assists to help you along, this is not that game. You get a replay, jokers, and mix up the deck, that's it, and they cost a lot: 2500 points to replay a move, 8000 to mix up the deck, and 5000 for one joker. You can collect jokers and mix up the deck from playing, and you also collect extra point cards, which, as everyone says, brings the game to a crashing halt, before you can continue moves. The plots are described but absolutely impossible to find during actual play, the scenes are extraordinarily repetitive, so that if there is an interesting palette and location painting, be sure you will see it again soon. The last one of these I played, I gave up near the end (I play only the Newbie version, I have no patience for anything beyond that), but players were given so few cards to finish a level, it was almost impossible to accumulate enough points to get out of the location. Enough was enough. This one returns to the exact theme music that so many of them have, the same as in the first one I played years ago. The developers of this game basically ignore all the criticisms, and merrily continue to produce the same game time after time, with a different look to them and an imaginary, but non-existent plot. I play these solely for strategy. If you've never played them before, check out the demo. I recommend the game with a ton of reservations. Show less

This dev is oblivious! Either they are not concerned or they lack knowledge of the low reviews of their solitaire games. They just keep on with the same unpopular format and changing the title for a story that doesn't really exist.

The Gold Cards are a game killer. The features aren't worth mentioning. The ratings have plummeted to the bottom of the barrel. It is a shame that our reviews are ignored. How difficult can it be to make a few changes and create a nice solitaire game? It makes no sense to persist with something that reaps such low reviews. Maybe the laziness is just too powerful to overcome!

I know others will always enjoy the simple gameplay and may not care about strategy and challenge. But without them it means boredom and victory not due to my own skills but due to the Gold Cards controlling the game! Not fun!! Show less

I'm past the notion that the solitaire games by this developer will ever change or add features that appeal to most solitaire fans. A perfect score is a game where you are able to remove all cards from the board, not just a few special cards.

I'm past the notion that the solitaire games by this developer will ever change or add features that appeal to most solitaire fans. A perfect score is a game where you are able to remove all cards from the board, not just a few special cards.

The game is over the second you remove the Gold Cards, there is no option to continue playing, and they arrange the special cards specifically so you cannot possibly remove other cards before removing the special cards, which lay on top of several other cards.

I'm worried about BF; they can't seem to get new developers, so we're left with some pretty lame daily game choices by the same handful of devs. Good luck with that!
