I played the trial version. Purchased it. I actually like this series, and the different things they have placed in the game. I am now trying another one of yours, Wilde investigations, Kershuffle collecters. Love the scenery and the colors. The animals are cute a well. Thank you!!!

This is the second installment in the Wilde Investigations series (I assume there will be more to come...?) This is a relaxing game featuring unique, colorful painted scenery. This is the second installment in the Wilde Investigations series (I assume there will be more to come...?) This is a relaxing game featuring unique, colorful painted scenery. It is not too mentally taxing, with the exception of a few minis that are quite challenging (and skippable, if you're not in the mood for them.) Lots of jigsaws, HOPs with a very loose storyline centering around a zoo investigation; just enough (or barely enough!) plot to keep you engaged from scene to scene. I found the gameplay generally easier than the first one ("Kerfuffle"). The violin soundtrack has a lulling effect; I had to pour another cup of coffee to keep going. But I enjoyed it quite well, and it's a welcome break from the dayglo graphics and darker themes which mostly dominate the current casual game scene. Recommended for HOP fans. Show less

I enjoy playing games by this developer it makes a change to play a game based on animals rather than people I find this series colourful to play

Was so happy to see this game. I have the first one which was a lot of fun as is this one. Many HO levels but also other really fun levels of different puzzles which keeps it from getting boring. So glad BF finally had one without the darkness.

The graphics are really very nice, color is great. The game's layout was confusing to me, not always sure where to go/what to do next, when to proceed to next scene. It always felt like I was leaving something undone because the indicators made it seem I could re-enter the scene to finish up whatever. It was just too vague or maybe I'm just a dumb bunny!

I enjoyed the HOPs very much. Not all the typical style, the challenge was good, lots of interactivity and moving from one place to another to find my list items. Some objects were very small, most were very well blended into the surroundings. Some descriptions were misleading, such as the traveler's cloak that really looked like a long-sleeved shirt to me. Many of the HOs I would describe as being disguised, rather than concealed or blended, because I would hit on items that looked nothing at all like what I was searching for, and it turns out they were correct. So that annoyed me a bit. Had to use Hint a few times for those particular things that just weren't visible due to this "trick".

The puzzles/games took more time than I was willing to spend. After a few minutes I was too antsy to move on because I was wasting valuable demo time. There was a good variety, not all easy, one jigsaw was a real doozy which I ended up skipping and saw that I never would have gotten it right after seeing it completed. It was all a good time, every HOP and game was fun with a good level of challenge.

I didn't follow the storyline all the way through. I would have enjoyed voice-overs and animal sounds although their were a few birds chirping away here and there. An animal sanctuary should be noisy with all the different kinds of critters and birds.

Even though I did enjoy the entire demo, I'm not sure I would consider buying the CE as it seems a bit sparse to me. There was a good variety in the HOP styles and types of puzzles but I felt uncomfortable playing. I think it's from being unsure of my next move, as I mentioned earlier, with scenes left open for return visits. Sound a bit confusing? It was for me.

Anyway, not bad at all. Something that is out of that boring, cookie-cutter category that has taken over so many games recently. I like games involving animals, was hoping to see more of them in the locations and read some trivia along the way. That would have made it much more enjoyable. The info inside the pamphlets/minor books wasn't much.

When the SE version arrives I'm sure it will be a buy or if my budget and mood are in a good place I'll go for the CE and enjoy the extras that might be more than I anticipated from the limited demo info. Show less

Although the game only has 3 levels of play, each level has different scenarios to do things in. The game is more tailored to a younger individual, than older individuals. This has to be one of the strangest, weirdest games I have ever played in this genre. If I remember correctly the first one was just the same. Just not my style of HO game play. I didn't feel engaged at all and I found game play to be quite boring.
Apparently out of 4 reviews I am the only one that feels this way so play the demo and decide for yourself.

I don't recommend this game.
