This is a short game but I feel it is decent. There are no voiceovers and the characters pop up along with dialogue which I found somewhat irritating. However, there is music and sound effects. The graphics are excellent. I loved the story behind the game.

There are mainly HOP scenes with a few puzzles thrown into the mix. However, both are excellent. Locating those items is difficult because the scenes are very dark. There are a variety of scenes including lists of items, silhouette, cryptic clues, and matching. There are not many puzzles. I only saw three in the entire game along with eight HOP scenes.

SHOULD I PLAY OR STAY AWAY? I would give this game a chance. Along with MixoGames, this is another developer who I feel could create some outstanding HOPA games. Heavens knows we have lost more HOPA developers than we have producing games nowadays and we cannot expect Elephant, our beloved GrandMA, and Friendly Fox to keep us in weekly games. The game does not have a lot of activities; however, the story is excellent and if you like a little challenge in your games, this one does provide that.

NOTE TO THE DEVELOPER: This game would be sensational if you would add voiceovers. They would not have to have mouth movements; however, just some voice would make this a better game. Keep up the good work. I would love to see a collector’s edition HOPA game from the developer. Hopefully we will see more HOPA games from Magnussoft. The game shows creative design and great graphics. Best of luck! Show less

Love Love Love this game. It takes me back to the older game style. No hightlighted areas. You have to move the cursor around to find what you are looking for. Different puzzles. And it's user friendly. Your tasks are well explained.
Beautiful graphics.

This is a good game with crisp graphics and an interesting story. My only complaint is that it can be a bit wordy at times, leaving you with nothing to do for a while. However, it’s still enjoyable.

The storyline is a bit slow-moving initially, but it does pick up once you are in the castle. It isn't a nail-biter plot that has you hanging on the edge of your seat in anticipation of what happens next. However...

What the game lacks can easily be overlooked because of what it doesn't lack, which are some pretty unique features, particularly regarding the Hidden Object Scenes. I own thousands of games and have played every HOPA available, but I have never encountered a Hidden Object Scene with a sound clip versus text! The goal is to listen to the soundbite and locate the animal that made that particular sound, such as a cricket chirping, a bee buzzing, or the rat-a-tat-ta of a woodpecker....very cool! Kudos to the Magnussoft team- Vivian Hofmann, Maik Heinzig, Matthias Gotz, that's how you "🅃🄷🄸🄽🄺 🄾🅄🅃🅂🄸🄳🄴 🅃🄷🄴 🄱🄾🅇"! 📦

The Hidden Object Scenes vary with standard Listed Items, Silhouetted Shapes, and Multiples of the same type, such as 4 Buttons and 4 Moths. Some of the items are hidden behind objects, and I couldn't help but laugh when I had to move a huge rock to find a delicate flower hidden underneath.

The mini-games have been fun but nothing cutting-edge so far. I don't think a mini-game puzzle has to be complex to be enjoyable, but it's always nice to have various difficulties throughout the game. There are memory match games where you flip over two leaves at a time to find matching animal tracks, cycle through square tiles to recreate an image, a "Blocks" variation, and a game where you have to drag keywords and phrases to complete a town flyer.

As I stated earlier, this HOPA probably isn't going to blow your socks off or knock you off the computer chair. But it is way better than some of the latest BF offerings...not to mention it's at the Standard Edition price of just $6.99! If I'm judging this game as a whole, I'd probably only give it 3 Stars, but (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ I'm going to add an extra star because I want more developers to get on board and offer standard edition HOPAs!!!!!!! ♥

Story was ok but not very deep. Graphics were nice but it has the most annoying user interface i guess you'd call it of any game i've played. Characters appearing on the screen and jumping at you every time they speak is annoying and so is having to hold your mouse down everytime you move an item. No difficulty choices, no cursor change or sparkles on HOS. I defo would try the demo before buying ...Show more

Based on Demo. Nice sharp colors, pretty scenes. My issue is all of the cut scenes, talking that you can't do anything but click through. A very basic game. Not a lot of instructions. I did have to click around to find out what was needed. It is not a buy for me but I will recommend you try it.

Really nice assortment of activities in this game, but you HAVE to go through a LOT of character conversations which lag and I just want to get to the puzzles.

Played the demo. Never have I so desperately wanted to find a flashlight in a scene to be able to use in the game. The hidden object scenes were so dark I could not find many items.
There is lots of text dialog but no voice over. I couldn't progress two steps without some dialog; it was too much IMO. I clicked on some door and the text was in German.
