I really liked this game. I especially liked that it had 3 cases. Hope they make more. I have been disappointed in most of the HOPA games that have been coming out lately, but this one seems to be a step in the right direction.

I really enjoyed this game. It was actually three different cases in one package, and I’m hoping that they keep making these, as I have enjoyed playing this one. It was nice to hear real narration instead of the computer-generated voices that have become so common in games nowadays. I really enjoyed this game. It was actually three different cases in one package, and I’m hoping that they keep making these, as I have enjoyed playing this one. It was nice to hear real narration instead of the computer-generated voices that have become so common in games nowadays. I actually loved the voice actor’s voice, and it matched the atmosphere of the game perfectly. I played on easy the first time through, but even then, there were some parts that were challenging. I've never left a review before. But this game really surprised me. The first few minutes I thought I'd made a mistake buying it but then I started to understand it. NO HOPs!!! I loved the three chapters - each was a full game in and of itself. Some of the puzzles were easier and some were quite challenging. I also liked that the dialogue moved forward without me having to click all the time. Highly recommend this game.

I started this game a bit wary because, well, it didn't spoon feed me my next steps like most of the games I play. But I decided to stick with it and just poke around the scenes and walk around. Soon I got the hang of it. The map helped a lot when I was stumped on what to do next. I loved the challenge, loved the story. I found the graphics to be very high quality. I found the puzzles to be a challenge, but I was able to solve them, (after saving and coming back to the game with fresh eyes). All in all it feels like the old adventure PC games yet has everything the modern HOP games have. I really enjoyed this one and hope more are to follow. Show less

I really like this game. You are a young (green) detective trying to make a name for yourself. The game is broken into 3 different cases, which are each about as long as other full games. Kind of like getting 3-games for the price of 1. I finished the first case where the bad guy is posing as a magical dog to scare the villagers so he can get the land cheap. You find clues, build a case file, and prove your case. No HOPs, just puzzles. And nowhere near as much find-the-door-handle-in-the-flower-pot kind of silliness as in other games. I also appreciate that the storyline makes sense (unlike some other games). My only (minor) criticism is that the sparkles are a bit misleading – they will continue to sparkle even after you have completed the necessary action. Another strange feature is that you really can't walk between areas, you have to use the map to get around. Odd, but you get used to it. Overall, I really enjoy this and look forward to playing the next two cases. Show less
