Match-3 games are a perfect way to unwind. I always play on the relaxed setting and take my sweet time. The tiles are bright and fun. The board layouts are varied. There are the usual barriers to get around and several special tile combinations which will produce a missile or bomb. The bomb combos are a little different than the previous game, but close enough that the Laruaville fan will not have to scroll through the instructions.
Match-three game play is interspersed with four different mini-games: Mah jong, blocks (road race), spot the difference and find the object. If you do not care for a particular game, you will be able to opt out after skipping it several times. While generally, I do not enjoy spot the difference or find the object games, these are so well crafted, I play them all.
One note of personal preference. I like mah jong, but I play for relaxation and do not like a deliberately tough board. For the first time, Laruaville has added blank tiles which cannot be removed to add to the challenge. I can see how this might appeal to many people, but I do not want to have to replay mah jong to find the sequence that will remove all the tiles. Perhaps in the next game, the creators can remove those unmovable tiles form the relaxed-easy mode.
I still love this game and look forward to more variations. Show less

I love this game..and it's previous versions. But I play it constantly and it's over too quickly .then have to wait for next version. graphics are clear, crisp...game play was not as challenging as previous versions......story line not a favorite but characters are adorable. (so I need to get out more often..) waiting for next version....please

One of the few games I buy without trying it before. And I'm never disappointed! Different challenges, different stories and funny characters. The mahjong puzzles can be very tricky with the blank tiles. At first, I thought it was a glitch in the game. After a lot of tries, I sometimes succed....

I am loving the changes to this game, but it does take a while to find your feet with the new widget in play.

I find I am using the hint button more often than with other games but moving along. I ran into the same problem as another reviewer...but the hint button after making what I need it showed me exactly where to place my 'bomb' so the game moved on.

The standard mahjong match, blocked key, different scene extra puzzles are still there to enjoy. The creators of Laruaville never fail to be creative and I highly recommend this game for anyone who is a fan of the series! Show less

I bought this game without trial. Not sorry. If you have played previous games don't hesitate on buying this game.
Bombs are back and so are the boxes. Spot the difference and mahjongg. A new twist on matching new tiles,
Enough new to make this game fresh. Characters are as amusing as ever,

This is the biggest change the Laruaville team have made to a game. I bought this immediately knowing I was in for a treat.
The game this time round is set in ancient Inca times.
No more match 6, 5 or even 4 to create bombs, dynamite, or stars. No ladybirds (so far) but neither have I encountered any magnets.

This is the biggest change the Laruaville team have made to a game. I bought this immediately knowing I was in for a treat.
The game this time round is set in ancient Inca times.
No more match 6, 5 or even 4 to create bombs, dynamite, or stars. No ladybirds (so far) but neither have I encountered any magnets.
The missiles are back - match 5 of those to create a big missile, which, when detonated, will pass through any obstacle - even shielded crates.
Match 3 randomly appearing dynamites which will then explode any dynamites already on the board.
Then there is the moveable bomb (match four and explode it after moving it around the board yourself to an obstacle).
The portals for fire and coins have remained along with the rocks and snow.
Dirty coins which need to be cleaned before eliminating are now blue.
I still have to get out of the habit of creating 5's to get a rocket etc and fours for a dynamite !!
All of this makes the game really tricky as it requires a lot of strategy. I play on limited moves so every move counts - even moving the bomb around.
I am having fun, lunch is a freezer dinner today 🤣
