I am glad they decided to release this game. Sure it's not the sophisticated, newer, DARK versions but it was great to go back to the roots and play. I read a few complaints that there were too many HOS in this game--it's a hidden object game!! This is what these games were in the beginning and they were fun to play! For those of us who remember and played the original Mystery Case Files, this is a blast from the past, with some of the same original characters, and, all the same fun! The game has been brought up to a more modern style, but not so much that it loses you. For the pure fun of HOs, with the between chapter harder, thinking, puzzles...This game has just delighted me!

I recommend this game!

So so happy to find this game! After being turned off of every new MCF for years now (with the exception of the return to Fates Carnival), finally a game that captures the original feel and original fun that made this series so loved. So so happy to find this game! After being turned off of every new MCF for years now (with the exception of the return to Fates Carnival), finally a game that captures the original feel and original fun that made this series so loved. Hidden object games are a dime a dozen these days, and the most recent installments of this series have really started to lose themselves, and feel just like every other game out there. Without an opening title screen you wouldn't even know they were MCF. While I know the series probably won't completely return to its roots, I am really really enjoying this game.

The HOP are challenging, but not insane. The characters are quirky and campy. Love having the case list again for navigation, as well as the level timer. I don't need to have five different types of morphing objects and a room full of achievements to have a good time. Honestly this is the most fun I've had with a HOP game in ages. But then again, I have been a huge fan since the very first game, so I have a real attachment to the original, ground breaking, series and style. This is most definitely not going to be for everyone. It's so nice to find a real hidden object game with a good story line. Sometimes you want an adventure game with a few hidden object tasks and sometimes you want a hidden object game. This fills the bill for the latter. I enjoyed this game tremendously.

have played nearly all mystery trackers. First one was the best, but have to say this is so different, that is right up there with the first one. once started I could not quit & finished it in one day. Now I am playing the bonus game. I have thoroughly enjoyed this game....It was fun remembering characters from past MCF games. If you want to have a pleasant game to play...…….this is the one!!! The length is fair, the challenge is fair, try this one out. My only regret is that I did not buy the CE.

I loved the original MCF games and this one is very similar to them .I really enjoy the puzzles and solving the cases.
