This is one of the cutest Halloween Match 3 games I've ever seen! The mechanics of play runs with ease, the graphics are cute, whimsical and colorful and the sound is charming. The music however can be monotonous, but that can be turned off.

I recommend this game!

I purchased this game after playing the demo and this review is based on playing over 40 levels. This Match 3 game provides endless variety with several difficulty settings, many tile choices and challenging grid layouts. I purchased this game after playing the demo and this review is based on playing over 40 levels. This Match 3 game provides endless variety with several difficulty settings, many tile choices and challenging grid layouts. The graphics are very bright and light-hearted, bringing a smile to my face as I play. During play, money and diamonds are earned. The money is used to purchase items to decorate the sanctuary, fish and other items, all appropriately spooky for a Halloween game. The diamonds are used to purchase power ups, but I found I really didn't need the power ups that often. But then I play the game with no timer, so I'm sure this is why. Playing more challenging difficulty levels would probably result in the need for power ups, which are indeed powerful. Just a great, fun game. Show less

I've always been a fan of the games by this developer's (especially their Solitaire games) and FishWitch is an adorable and fun Match 3 addition. My only complaint is with the Decoration graphics style curb appeal which doesn't give you that "gotta have that one next" anticipation which is what a builder-based game is supposed to do, otherwise GS Games have hit the mark once again.

There are 3 Modes to choose from, a Relaxed, Unlimited Moves Chilled Penguin mode, a Challenge, Limited Moves Shark mode, and a Timed, fast-pace Seahorse racing mode to suit every Match 3 preference. You can then choose between a Casual mode which is more generous with the number of moves, or Expert mode which has the normal amount of moves or time to finish the levels. You will earn up to 3-Stars per level and the levels can be replayed.

The goal is to make matches of 3 or more identical tiles over all of the Gold or Sand-covered cells. Some levels require you to drop items such as Treasure Chests or Keys to the bottom of the board, and of course, there are the usual obstacles like Crates, Chains, Stone cells, Ice Cubes, Moss, and Metal tiles to overcome while working toward those goals. You will earn coins while playing Match 3 Levels which allows you to decorate with 24 different Fish and 15 Halloween-themed Decorations.

Large Matches will earn Power-ups on the board and there are Bonuses available to use at your discretion.
-Dynamite: 1 tile radius
-Bomb: small adjacent radius
-TNT Barrel: 2 tile radius
-Wand: destroys several of a chosen token
-Hammer: destroys a single chosen token
-Whirlpool: shuffles all tokens
-Trident: destroys all of one type of token Show less

There's nothing much new here. But it is a bit of Halloween fun. There are plenty of modes to work with limited time, moves or relaxed. There is some 'off board' building to buy fish and ornaments to decorate your scene using your aquired loot, (which already have a designated place)

I've been playing this and have no problem with it not working. It's simple and relaxing. It's like Fishdom, getting $ to buy fish and decorations. I've only played it for 33 min (answering the door for trick and treaters) so I don't know if it gets more complicated.

I recommend this game!

What I didn't like:
~ It's a Halloween themed game that doesn't have enough Halloween icons to match. The decorations for the this tank were also really kind of boring.

~ You are able to add fish and decorations to a fish tank, and that's really good. But where this game goes wrong-
the tank items are too small, too expensive, not every level gives enough currency to upgrade the tank and...

~ My biggest disappointment with this game is that the tank of swimming fish you've created can't be saved as a screensaver. You can't even "snap a photo" of your tank to keep as a wallpaper here.

~ The graphics are too cartoonish, with teeny items that can't be moved, added and removed in the tank. At one point I put a new fish in and had to squint to find if it was swimming or not.

What I liked:
~ I really enjoy M3s that have a reason for matching; in this case adding fish and items to a fish tank.
~ It had pretty good sound effects.

Bottom line: Maybe it's tough to match perfection. This game is lacking on so many fronts. There is a version done elsewhere that blows this game (and it's fish) out of the water. Too bad, because if it were made with those missing features, I would have bought this one for sure. Show less

It is a cute little game and does get a little more difficult as it goes along but didn't find much of a challenge (being an adult) but was a nice addition as a Halloween game (which we really didn't get a lot of).

This game has that one good factor in that you get to buy fish and decorations. Based on one hour play it is not too difficult. However the whole game is a bit childish. And it lacks that extra bit which would have given it a four star. No mini games- just one match three after another while you earn enough to buy another fish or decoration.
