This is a classier version of the Paint by Numbers game by the same developer who created the Rainbow Mosaics series. This is a classier version of the Paint by Numbers game by the same developer who created the Rainbow Mosaics series. I have been disappointed in the other painting series because of the dull color palette and lack of color variation between huge black lines. That isn't the case with Art By Numbers! Not only are the colors stunning, but they give you background canvas options to make the completed image look like a display in an art gallery!

The cursor is an actual Paintbrush, something I have been asking for this entire time (doesn't that make more sense!) You can choose from 4 different Backgrounds that will compliment your completed work of art, including a textured canvas, there are 72 amazing pictures to choose from (including Helper)

The Current Number is much easier to see than in the "other" painting game and the black lines are much smaller so the pictures are much crisper and are really interesting. They have a transparent background (unlike the other painting game which has an ugly gray background) because this picture will be displayed on the background you have chosen, and it will be embossed with a blue & gold frame when completed.

The colors are beautiful with carefully chosen hues of yellows, purples, pinks, fuchsias, teals, oranges, etc. A butterfly might have 5 different variations or shades of pink on his wings which is something I have complained about several times on the other painting game. It's not very pretty when the same blue color is used on an entire butterfly that is just separated by really thick black lines, you have to use shading variations to give it depth, and that is exactly what Awigor has done...Bravo, this is a beautiful game! I've not played a game like this before and wondered if I would enjoy it. I do! It's easy to follow and relaxing to play. The challenge is to complete the pictures without any hints - not as easy as you may think! I do hope they do more of these.

I recommend this game!

After a couple easy pictures to become familiar with game details, the artwork quickly becomes increasing complex. The results are gorgeous, and I totally enjoyed the process. I also appreciate the fact that you can either click into segments or just click-and-drag to swipe across multiple segments.

There are 72 pictures, so I'm looking forward to many hours of relaxing enjoyment. Show less

The amazing color palette brings more depth to the images and allows for a wider range of shading to make the finished piece really stand out.

I own all the color games at BFG and enjoy them immensely, and in my opinion this is one of the best being offered anywhere. These color/paint by number games have been available to MAC users for a long time now. There are many different ones out there and I have sampled some on other sites. PC users are left out for some reason and it really frustrates me. Please, Big Fish, bring us more of these wonderful art games! You would make the PC users extremely happy little fishies! We are way behind in what is available in this in fun genre.

I have to be careful not to get carried away with Art By Numbers, as it would be very easy for me to just sit and paint all day long. My other color games have been replayed so many times, it is just silly. So today's new release is simply divine!

The different backgrounds are nice, I especially like the textured one. The dark background in my other games has never been an issue with me, however, since the picture is more important. I don't see the need for a special looking cursor. As long as it isn't too big and moves about smoothly, I'm a happy painter. The brush doesn't make painting more fun, but it is a novel feature which many will really like. I do love the embossed frame that shows off the finished picture. it makes a big difference in my overall satisfaction.

The variety of 72 pictures is very nice, with something for everyone. The finished pieces are a vast improvement over the Pixel Art Series (for example), as they are so vividly colored and look much sharper which produces a more interesting, detailed picture.

I find these color/paint by number games very relaxing, while at the same time providing a nice little challenge. Finding all those numbers sometimes isn't as easy as one would expect. Great fun for all "artists"! None of the mess to clean up, but my cats would rather have pencils and brushes to push off of the table!!

Awigor has enhanced Art By Number with their special touch and variety of features which instantly made it a 5-star addition to my collection. Show less

* continuous color: you can hold the mouse button and drag the mouse over a section and color it all at once, no need to click on each little bit that is to be blue (or whatever)
* natural painting: you can choose the wide brush and it just puts color where you move the mouse (instead of filling in to the border), personally this isn't appealing to me, but if you want to feel like you are really using a brush, its there
* free paint: after you have completed a picture you can go into free paint and do it again with any colors you want, which is something I've wished for and am so glad they added :)

this makes such a nice break when the intense games I usually play get too much, really recommend you try it, even if you don't think you would like it you may be surprised

This allows you to color each picture in a pretty fast way so that you don't get bored nor wear your finger out. I love these kind of games. You get to zone out and not stress out over politics for a while. And they appeal to the artist in all of us. Who doesn't love pretty colors?

I've been waiting for another Paint, Pixal, and now Art by Numbers. PC owners need this and any more you have. Game is relaxing , fun, and very nice coloring.
