I love just watching a picture emerge! After all that is going on now it is just fun to chill. This game is a chill game. I love many games but am tired of looking for a tire iron or whatever in the hidden object games. I love relaxing with this game. It is very pretty also. I go back to it every day since I purchased it. Love the cupcake!
I recommend this game!

I approached this game a little differently...I went at it as a speedy/stress-reliever, paint-by-number. In other words, finger touch the screen to color in the numbers, get faster, start using the non-dominant hand in tandem, and within several pictures accuracy by both hands improves exponentially. Liken it to learning to type, and as skill improves, satisfaction grows. The big plus is it blows the stress right out of the day because muscle memory at its fastest and best is freeing and so rewarding. Try the game again as a speed challenge and see if it plays differently. Show less

I agree that this game is easy on the older eyes but I don't think too easy to be fun. I have stopped buying the later pixel art games because they are too complex and pictures take too long, so this is just right for me.
I recommend this game!

I really enjoy all the painting games. However, my hands shake which makes it difficult to color smaller spaces. This game, even though the pictures are not up to others' expectations, makes it perfect for me.

Recently, I played a similar Art By Numbers game that ticked all the boxes I have been suggesting on every Paint By Numbers and every Pixel Art game that has been released by this developer. Although some minor changes were made on this new geometrical Polygon Art game, the developer is clearly failing to see the bigger picture...it's "all about the PICTURE" and these are dreadful pictures! Who cares about filling in a single apple or a single lemon, etc? Why do you force players to follow levels in a demo? IF there are better pictures on the other levels wouldn't you want players to see this?
The good stuff:
-for the 1st time, the developer is using slightly different color hue variations which gives it a 3 dimensional appearance.
-The geometrical shapes have several advantages, it gives dimension and makes objects look like crystal, there's no need for those hideous black lines, the shapes are easier to see than most shapes in the paint by numbers games.
-I loved that only the current number was visible, the next number shows up when the previous number is complete (or the number is selected on the pad-no clutter)
-the cursor is smaller
The bad stuff:
-You can't drag the cursor to fill in large groups of numbers
-The music is loud and overbearing, what happened to the sounds of nature?
-Did I mention the picture selection is dreadful?
-Did I mention I can only choose pictures within the current level
-This is an Art game, why are all the pictures of a single item, why can't the background be involved as well?
-I appreciate that you have finally added color hue variations, but just about any modern running computer can easily identify 16,777,216 different colors...take advantage of at least SOME of them!
-Why do so many of the pictures involve fruit? Let's compromise, I'll eat fruit while playing, how about nature and animals for the pictures, preferably the ones I don't eat?
-Why can't I have more than one cursor option? (I don't eat those ;)

This is like other fill in the box with color games, except these boxes are not pixel shaped. It could be interesting, but for two shortcomings which make it more annoying than fun for me.

(1) You must click on every single box to fill it. There is no option to drag your cursor through a collection of adjacent boxes and fill them all. Every - single - box - must - be - clicked.
(2) Might only matter to me. I like to select the order in which I fill in color on these. Look at the boxes and choose which ones to do next. But you can't choose because you don't know what color the boxes are. So you have to fill them in order: all the 1's, all the 2's, all the 3's, etc. I prefer to fill in the outsides first and them fill in adjacent colors inside the outer edges. You would have to click in all 24 colors each color change to do this.
Sadly, this is not for me! Show less

Let me be clear - it is my own fault that I am disappointed with this game.
I had thought that it was a polygon puzzle type game in which you'd place pieces to "colour" the image.
IF you are looking for a very, very simple colour-by-numbers series of tasks of stylized images (polygons semi-abstract rather than realistic) then you may really enjoy this game.

I had thought that it was a polygon puzzle type game in which you'd place pieces to "colour" the image.
IF you are looking for a very, very simple colour-by-numbers series of tasks of stylized images (polygons semi-abstract rather than realistic) then you may really enjoy this game.
I found it painfully boring. It literally takes you through the palette of colours/shades/tints for the image and you click on the assigned polygons. You can only click on them in order.
For example - the second puzzle is an apple with a small stem and a bit of reflected light. A simple, common image. The polygon art version (granted, this was only level 2) had 25 shades and tints of red. You do have the capacity to click on a colour out of order - so if you're feeling wild and wacky and want to jump ahead to palette items 23 from palette item 1, you can do so, but you can't choose which polygons you apply that colour/shade/tint to. (Again, at least not at level 2; that function may appear in later levels.)
I really enjoy some of the mosaic puzzle games, and I enjoy polygon puzzles and digital colour books, but I have never particularly enjoyed paint-by-number colouring, be it hard copy or digital. I want the freedom to make choices.
I did see that there is a choice to have some custom palettes but again, I admit, I only went to level 2 so I didn't see where or when that function might be applicable in this game.
I disliked the fact that I couldn't choose, even with an assigned palette, which polygons to fill with a particular colour/shade or tint.
There is no storyline, no challenges or other features.
The music is of the sort that I find to be annoyingly repetitive but then I turn off the music on every game (and you can turn off the music in the settings of this game, so that's a point in its favour).
The colours are fairly clear, and after the filling-in is complete you can certainly see the ways that the shades/tints work together, so I gave it a decent rating for visual quality but it is inherently simple as it is polygon-based images. The one thing that could be a bit challenging would be seeing the numbers with more digits in the tinier polygons but the game does allow a zoom function so that a player can adapt for that.
I didn't find there to be any challenge, in fact I chafed at the lack of choice. Again, only the first couple of levels, however, so perhaps it gets better later?
I'm disappointed with myself for not having (a) read the description more carefully and (b) not having tried the demo first. I wasted a free game code but at least I didn't pay for this game. I cannot even imagine myself playing it when I need something simple to the point of almost being mindless to occupy a few minutes. For me, it's not worth the time it will take to open the game.
That being said, if you are a huge fan of colour by numbers and want something entirely guided, and find that kind of simplicity soothing, this may be a game you would enjoy. Show less

This is the 1st review I have ever left since I started playing games on BF in 2007. I am constantly logging on to see if any more games have been created like this one or more in a series of them (pixel art, art by numbers. paint by numbers, & modern art). I have bought them all. In my upper 50's I found it relaxing and simply fun. Due to the arthritis in my hands, it is terrible that you cannot drag the color through to fill in the areas. Clicking each triangle is painful for those out there dealing with the same thing. I lasted 5 minutes on the first puzzle before I logged off. Sadly, unless the makers make a "patch or an update" to change this I will not continue to support them in purchasing this line of games. Please alter the programming code to reflect this as all of the other games have had. Thank You! Show less

I found this very boring and tedious. I'll stick to Modern Art, Art by Numbers, etc. I only 'colored' four of the pics on the first level, then I quit. Just didn't enjoy it at all.
