We do live on a "Beautiful Earth". Is this series very challenging, no and I don't think the developer intended it to be. This series of games, in my opinion, is intended for the player to sit back, relax and just appreciate what a beautiful world we have. The scenes are just spectacular! I finished 5 locations in the demo and, believe me, not all that easy. I love deep challenge but this time I felt a bit defeated having to use the Hint Feature way too often. But that's not a bad thing, actually. IMO, it means a good, strong HOG requiring patience and eagle-eye skills. Pressed for time, I resorted to hints where normally I would tough it out, with my magnifying glass if I was stuck. The graphics are pristine and very colorful. The beautiful locations are interesting, full of things more difficult to find than in most HOGs we see these days. I really loved the game in this respect. There are 30 locations to dive into. Lots of fun.

There are 2 Game Modes, Hint and Super Hint, Sound Adjustments and a small Custom Cursor which moved smoothly. Zoom Zones are indicated on right of screen in small boxes. Click to enlarge to a very nice, big size but some items still hard to spot. The scenery is very busy and dark areas can prevent a quick find. There are 3 kitties that mew when clicked and a paw print that pops up an animal image with sound when clicked. These can be hidden in the Zoom Zones, too, so don't forget to check there. Earned points purchase gifts, which are actually images of animals, to fill in a beautiful backdrop. There's a 3-star goal - find all objects, all kitties, all paw prints. Your achievements are shown at end of each location.

I played several mini-games. Find-The-Difference not so easy even with crystal clear graphics due to very busy scene and very small objects. For the sake of time, I skipped near the end, leaving 3 unfound items. The jigsaw style puzzle was a bit too easy, liked it anyway. I've seen it before in the Vacation Adventure games. I enjoyed the tetris-type game with rotatable box shapes. A bit frustrating, but fun. I hate Mahjong so skipped that one, I really wish devs could come up with something different instead. For me, too tedious and boring.

Overall, I think this HOG is very entertaining with its very well-hidden tiny objects. It can't just be breezed through unless, of course, frustration leads to the Hint Button. It certainly became my buddy in the demo and I usually avoid hints no matter how much it slows me down! So if you're up for a challenge. I do recommend this quality game. Show less

I'm a fan of straight hidden object games, find them relaxing and enjoyable if well done and this one certainly is in my opinion.

The scenes are indeed beautiful; although details about them are still lacking in this series, I didn't miss them at all since the emphasis is on nature and there's much to feast your eyes and ears on in each scene. The hidden objects aren't too easy nor too difficult to find -- a perfect level of challenge for most who like this sort of game. The minigames are a bit more challenging and better done than most found in similar game series yet still pretty easy to complete.

I absolutely love listening to the realistic bird sounds (and the odd animal here and there like when you find and click on the pawprint in each scene), no overwhelming music. Myself, I turn the music way down or off and turn the sound effects up for a very pleasant, enjoyable and relaxing gaming experience when that's what I'm in the mood for. Show less

These are not the longest games but they lovely to look at and relaxing to play. Try it and I think you will agree.

Very similar to OBE 2, which was excellent, this is every bit as good in all respects. First, a game must be honest, and this series is that. As with OBE 2,there are 3 cats and a paw print in each scene, also the small pop-up windows when appropriate, which go away when done. Player can close the pop-up if desired. No timer, no penalty for mis-clicks, and some of the best of mini-games on the ...Show more

If like me you've grown tired of HOPs with dark themes and overly complicated stories, this may just be what you're looking for.

Each main level is a beautiful scene from countries all over the world. You must find 15 objects to progress. You also have the option to collect 3 adorable cats for extra coins. If you get all the items without a hint, you get another coin bonus. All your money can be spent at the "gift shop" to collect souvenirs.

In between levels are cute and varied minigames like Memory and Mosaic. Nothing too difficult, just fun. The beautiful music and ambient sounds that play throughout each level promote a relaxed and happy atmosphere that matches the game design perfectly.

I wish we could see more games like this on Big Fish and hope that BD Studios will release many more in this series. Show less

I'd give it way more than 5 stars, if I could. What a fantastic game, hidden object, puzzles, awesome sound effects, this is just the best game I've played in a very long time.

Loved seeing so many beautiful scenes wiile searching for objects and appreciate photographer / Developers eye for beauty but really wish they would put some kind of locatios somewhere in scene---- perhaps one of the objects could have the name of the location on it - just my humble opinion ; )

This one gets a ***** 5 out of ***** 5 on my personal enjoy-ability list : )
