I enjoyed this one as much as the first installment. It's a game - it's fun, visually appealing, not challenging for expert players, but new players need something like this to learn on. I'm an expert, but not a game snob. I can enjoy a fun, easy game like this if it keeps me entertained, and so far this series has done that. There were some issues with this one, while the first one was very smooth. This one lets you replay each scene as much as you want to, and shows game currency, but that part only applies to the Collector's version. And at some point in Level 3, there was one puzzle that could not be completed in the replay - definitely a game error and not a player error. There were a few mislabeled hidden objects, and in the last few scenes, some objects you had to click on in multiple places until you found the sweet spot. That would mainly be annoying if you were trying to earn the game currency because you can't have any mis-clicks & you have to replay the scenes to earn the game currency. It was much longer than the first one, which made for more fun, but also made the story line drag out and frankly, I forgot how it all began by the time I got to the end. But the point is, the HOS and puzzles were fun, and even a beginner would not have to use hints(except for game errors not showing the object or mislabeling it) or use skips. There were several puzzles involving creating a path, and those were very clear to me so I don't understand the one review that said there was no grid. I think some experts get offended when a game is too easy. Again, I like an easy game sometimes, as long as there is a fun factor, and there was here. As with the first one, I think a parent and child could enjoy this game together. There was somewhat of an education factor, although there were mistakes in that aspect. Overall, when you need a nice break from the usual mysteries or scary stories, try this game and just enjoy some fun game play without the challenges. Not all games need to test your skills - a fun game is plenty of entertainment. Show less

I found this game very relaxing and the time just flew by. It was a bit challenging in the fact that there were times you had to replay a scene to advance to the next scene, which you didn't have to do in the first game of this series,but in the end I was able to go back and accomplish all scenes and level except 3 but it didn't prevent me from going forward in game. I found this game very relaxing and the time just flew by. I passed this game up when it first came out but seeing that it was being offered free I decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. I enjoyed it so much I went and bought the first one in series with the weekend sale price. Played both games to end over 2 days. Look forward to more in this series. Show less

I love these hunt and click games. Items are reasonably sized so they are not too hard to find. Great game

The game is not very challenging; but enjoyable. Best of all, it was free. I doubt that I would have paid full price for it. It is a fun game and a change from dark mystery and horror games. My eyesight is not so good, so i would have liked the objects to be a little bigger and clearer.

In hidden object segments, the same object will have different names across puzzles.
You have to click on many objects multiple times because the clickable part is a small field within the object, not the whole image of it.

Jigsaw interfaces don't allow you to click and drag. Pieces only anchor to their initial or solved position; you can't move pieces around freely.
A path programming game lacks a grid, making it trial-and-error figuring out how to navigate curves.

Despite all the difficulty operating the game, objects aren't well hidden and jigsaws/etc. don't leave much room for error or figuring. I can appreciate that some games are easy and that's fine, but games of this nature need especially smooth, satisfying controls to make it work. This game's missing those little elements of polish that make it fun just to click around. Show less
