The opening cut scene had huge writing at the bottom that was like overpowering and thought I hope this game isn't going to be a flop. It was great with awesome graphics and game play. Keep Richard in the future games....... We all missed him. Loved how they did the story line of this game. Very enjoyable.

I loved this game. It's a fun game, and the visual quality is exceptional. The hidden objects are challenging; I struggled to find several items. The mini-games are varied and entertaining. Additionally, I enjoyed the story. I recommend this game.

One of the better games in this long series.
Average length of game for both main and bonus game.
The series is one of my favorites. Some of the recent games were ok but this one many times better as it made me think more than most of these games.

Like other game of this type one goes through the game looking for items to help through out the game. This game I found it a little easier to find items and to us these items. Other games seem to me be a little too hard or bizarre to find what to do with items one finds.
You don't need to play the other games in this series, but it might help with the history behind this series.. Show less

Great game bringing Richard back was an awesome idea. One of my favorite characters in the Grim Tales series, keep continuing looking forward to seeing more of Anna and her daddy saga.

Another great entry in a great series.

Do yourself a favor ---- if you haven't already ---- and play this series from the first game on (and you can get that info ---- and a ton of other useful stuff ---- over at pennmom's outstanding forum, The Woods!)

Seriously, this is a very good series of games ---- I'm so glad they got the glitch sorted.

It reminds me of the old Elephant games. Very well done. It's like playing one of my older games. Love the look and feel of it. Not boring. Graphics are great. It has depth.
Hope we get more of these. Thank you to the developers.

Pros: It's the sequel for which we've been waiting in vain for longer than I'd care to recall. Richard, for all his sins (and they are many) deserved better than a walk into a mirror and a magical Sayonara. And so here we are, playing as Richard, standing in front of a somewhat exigent Guardian and filling in the blanks, Richard meets Redemption Cemetery or something like that. Certain familiar characters make an all too brief appearance, but there's no time for nostalgia when evil is afoot. (Which is too bad, because little Billy is getting really interesting).

Cons: OK, rough launch. Wow. It seems mean to rip on it at this point but after all, this is a long-awaited game and deserved a little better care at release to market. That's fixed now; the game actually downloads and works, hurrah! It's short, unfortunately, very plot driven, and it's hard to imagine how someone unfamiliar with the cast of characters could keep up. Once again, details important to the meta-story are reserved for the Bonus Game.

Bonus Game: We play as Anna here, stuck with a cleanup task in the now abandoned family mansion, sinking into ruin through desuetude but not quite as deserted as it seems. It turns out to be quite a task.

Four and a half stars stretched to five for the writing. Overall, it's the game longtime fans needed. Whether it's the one they wanted, that's another question. But the one question we are left with is where from here, because this thing...isn't over... Show less
