I've always loved games by this company. They keep things hopping by adding new things to do. For instance, dracula: you need to get rid of all the tombstones before you can put him in his coffin. The butler is good at getting rid of the barrel barriers.

I've obsessively rocketed through the main 100 levels. I played limited moves and easy mode, the game is so fun and big it's a joy blasting and exploding through the many levels. The Dracula theme is well done, he and his butler's involvement in the game is a fun idea which I really enjoyed.

Forever a fan of Suricate Software

I get so excited when a new Jewel Match match-3 comes out! This series is my all-time game favorite and Dracula does not disappoint. As always, love the artwork and mini games too.

First, I would like it if Big Fish would be so kind as to change their write up to reflect the developer as Suricate instead of Mad Data. I think that is very important to buyers and can't imagine how such a mistake was made. If I were Suricate, I would insist on it.

* Dracula. He behaves similarly to Knight in JM Origins 3 Camelot Castle. He can move freely around the board. While the Knight had to find his sword, Dracula has to get to his chest. However, he may be hindered by the garlic (a normal piece) and refuses to move near it :-)

* Dracula. He behaves similarly to Knight in JM Origins 3 Camelot Castle. He can move freely around the board. While the Knight had to find his sword, Dracula has to get to his chest. However, he may be hindered by the garlic (a normal piece) and refuses to move near it :-)

* The Butler. He moves like Dracula, but with additional magical powers. One of these powers allows him to summon thunderbolts to strike snails, turtles or garlic.

* Barrels. These barrels can only be removed by the Butler and cannot be broken by any other means. They will block Dracula's path and prevent pieces and amulets from falling.

* Gravestones. The Gravestone is a piece that cannot be destroyed or exchanged. The Gravestone can only be removed from the board when Dracula approaches it.

* Teleport. If the Butler gets to the portal, he swaps his position with Dracula.

Other obstacles (lava, chains etc.) and parts (HOG & clutter bonus levels) are the same as in previous games.

The addition of these new features often requires more thought during play as to how to proceed for effective progression. Overall, the levels are more challenging; I usually play on normal difficulty and "moves" mode and have often completed a level with few moves remaining. While also using spells and the hammer.

Possibly the best match-3 game since Suricate.

I rarely write reviews, so when I do, it means I REALLY like the game & feel it is worthy of consideration. This is one of the best games I have ever had the pleasure of playing. I'm finding it quite challenging, in a good way ~ it truly makes you think. The graphics are amazing, tiles well delineated & smooth as silk. There are myriad choices to customize your game experience ~ you can choose tile icon sets, there are multiple cursor designs to choose from, you can lighten or darken the tile background, & there are several different music choices that you can set (I'm still on the first track ~ it is hauntingly beautiful & so relaxing!), to name just a few.

Of course there's a castle to build (or should I say castles?) in an island-type setting, so it seems you're building more than one, & then there's a whole separate section of rooms to decorate with the stars, coins, & amulets you earn.

The Strategy Guide is exactly that ~ not showing you what to do on every level, but very detailed in explaining how to play the game, how everything works, & what everything is. There is also a 15 level Tutorial at the beginning that you can skip, but I highly recommend playing it to learn the mechanics of the game, which are quite intricate, & the things you earn in the tutorial you can apply towards your building & decorating.

This is the first Collectors Edition in a long time that I feel is worth the price ~ the extra levels provide a whole new castle scenario to build, & then there are 20 more bonus levels after that! Also within the main game are side 'Pearl' games in which you collect Pearls to buy more side games, which are Spot The Difference, & Clutter puzzles.

All in all, a fantastic game for the dead of winter. This is going to keep my busy for quite some time, especially with the multi-paged levels ~ they do take some time to complete. I'll finish this with 1 helpful hint (it's in the Strategy Guide, so NOT a spoiler!) ~ Dracula HATES garlic, so when it's near, he'll freeze, but the Butler (it's a CASTLE, so OF COURSE there's a Butler!) can throw lightning bolts at the garlic to eliminate them... & when you complete a perfect level, you'll get a 'Thumbs Up' from Dracula himself ~ Enjoy! This version of Jewel Match is Awesome. I Love it, everything about it is really good. Its really fun, the music fits and so far I have been having a lot of fun. Anyone that is a fan of Jewel Match games Needs to try this. Ive been a fan of Jewel Match since they came out so many years ago to me they make the Best relaxing Match 3's out there.

Their M3 games are very extensive, interesting, excellent tiles (even more varied in THIS one), and frequently spectacular Scenes that are wonderful to create after M3 matches.

The challenges and beautiful visuals change slightly in every game and keep them fresh and always fun. I enjoy the unique boards and beautiful way the icons and obstacles work. The games have plenty to keep us busy, I love everything about them. I own the CE but the SE is surely great as well, even without the extra levels. Camelot is deserving of high praises!
