When I first stumbled upon BFG back in 2007, this is the first game I purchased. Back then most Hidden Object Games were just scene after scene of finding items not this advanced adventure/puzzle/hidden objects like we have now. Back then most Hidden Object Games were just scene after scene of finding items not this advanced adventure/puzzle/hidden objects like we have now. This game is what got me hooked on hidden object games. It was just the right amount of creepy. It was colorful, kept my interest and I finished it rather quickly. Its not that it was a short game but I was so immersed with it that I did not stop playing it til I was done with it. I had read a lot of reviews and most people said to start with Mystery Case Files games which are also good BUT I liked the clearness of this game on a large screen. The old mystery case files games although great, tend to have blurred graphics on my large monitor so this is the game I chose instead and it ran perfectly on my mac and is the reason I am now a game addict. It got me acquainted with BFG and I love them =) Show less

This is an older game before all the adventure came out. IT is just HOS and not bad either. Good practice. Nothing great just good fun. Find things from seen to another. Do not expect a real story or adventure.

The graphics are somewhat grainy and the game doesn't adjust to wide screen very well so it stretches somewhat.

Game play involves doing mostly HOS. The storyline isn't as creative as classics such as Huntsville or Ravenhearst but it's a cute game more along the lines of Hidden Expeditions: Titanic.

It's sort of too bad that games like this aren't being made anymore. They're different from the current HOPA games and it's fun to have both kinds to play. I like them which is why I dredged the old games here to find one like this. Show less

This game was frightful only because of the timer! omg why put timers on games? I would have bought it just because it's something to do with hidden objects, but again, the timer. It gave me a headache trying to find this stuff because I was worried about not finishing in time, also it was blurry.

I don't recommend this game.

I had almost finished my 60 min going into room after room of hidden objects and never really got into the game to find out if there was a story. It would have been better if a glimpse of a story were there before having to do this. Not worth the money, even with a code to get 60% off if it takes that long to find out if there is a plot.

Not bad for a strictly hidden object game, but rather dull by today's standards. At least it wasn't extremely hard. The objects are bright and colorful and not too small, but near the end you do have to use a light to find the last things to prove who the crook was. I got a little bored, but it wasn't bad.
