If you like fairy tales, this is a fun spin on all the classics. In this game, the Royal House of Charming is getting ready for the big wedding of its Crown Prince to Snow White, and they want the kingdom to sparkle, and not in the emo vampire way. You have been enlisted into the Fairy Maids programme, and will be paid to clean the homes of many legendary creatures from The Three Little Pigs to the Dark Knight. You enter these homes armed with duster, cleaner, sponge and wand, and get upgrades and new equipment along the way. I sure wish real housecleaning was as much fun as this game. Help the perfumers make deodorizers and disinfectants. Zap nasty boggarts that trash your attempts to get these home clean. Even the Big Bad Wolf appreciates your work, but he’s a big softie compared to those sugar-hyped little brats, Hansel and Gretel. Stubborn stains are lifted and so are spirits when you play Fairy Maids, but don’t let it keep you from your real chores, because it really has the potential to do that.

The world of Fairy Maids is yours at the click of a mouse, so come and help the kingdom sparkle right away! Show less

This was a different type of game for me. Fun characters and good game play, a little repetitive near the end. Got laughed at by spouse for playing a cleaning game, but it i enjoyed it and that's all that counts

Fairy Maids is really fun. Talk about Fractured Fairy Tales! This one takes your favorite old fairy tales and characters with enough twists and turns for anyone. It's a visual banquet, too, with beautiful graphics and ok music. Worth playing and then playing again.

This is a quirky, super fun game! I love the extra mini-games, the graphics and everything about it. I love TM games and would recommend this one without ANY reservations!

I love this game! I haven't played such a funny game in years. The characters and the things they say are hilarious. I am loving it. The game gets increasingly difficult but I am trying to pick up speed...at the same time trying not to finish it! It's too much fun!

You go along cleaning up after fairy tale characters, earning cleaning tools and upgrading them along the way. It was a blast to play, very different from other time management games. I keep hoping they come out with another one...a little on the easy side, so excellent for children or just some one who needs a break from the same old, same old.

I recommend this game!

I chose to try this game because I love House Flipper on Steam, so I figured I'd like another game that involves cleaning up filthy houses. And from a fairy tale angle, too! I was not disappointed, particularly with the dialog, which is snarky, suggestive, and clever. The base story - clean up before the royal wedding - is simple, but effective. It's a bit confusing to figure out exactly what role you're playing in the story (human assistant to Beatrix, Beatrix herself, one of her fairy helpers, etc.), but I still enjoyed it even though I am still not quite sure who I was supposed to be. ;-)

The 2D character art is outstanding! I couldn't ask for anything better, EXCEPT it seems that the art for Beatrix was done by a completely different artist; it's much more simplistic and flat than the other characters. I also wish that the furniture designs for each house were different models, rather than being reskins of the same model; it made the houses feel too similar, which made things seem a bit repetitive.

As far as the gameplay itself, it's an enjoyable little twist on time management and hidden object pictures combined. I didn't really feel any sense of urgency, and I actually wonder if there even is a time limit, because I always got the biggest time bonus and never saw a clock/timer of any sort. The perfumery and boggert hunter minigames are a nice break and a good way to "grind" a bit for extra gold to upgrade tools.

Despite its few faults, which are definitely negligible, this is a highly enjoyable game and I plan to get plenty of replays out of it. Show less

This is an extremely cute TM game. You are a little fairy who cleans for storybook creatures. The game is simple to learn, cute, fun, and not real difficult. A great little time passer. Every once in a while I reload it onto my desktop and play. Fun.
