Our hero is sailing around the world on his yacht when he suddenly discovers a small island, which he can’t find on a map. Hidden Island consists of a match-3 concept where you need to swap sections of 5 rings in order to have 3 sections of the same color in a row. You can only swap sections that are adjacent to each other.

The game comes in 3 modes:
1) "Action": fill up an energy bar to go to the next level before time runs out; your energy goes up when you make a match and slowly ...Show more

The game comes in 3 modes:
1) "Action": fill up an energy bar to go to the next level before time runs out; your energy goes up when you make a match and slowly goes down when you're not;
2) "Adventure": you need to remove all the symbols embedded in the sections to reach the next level; no timer
3) "Endless", like "Action" mode, but without the timer (your energy only goes UP)

The colours are very bright, almost neon-like. I found the slight rotation of the whole circle a bit distracting; it's a feature you can leave on or turn off in the "Options" menu.

The mechanics work great (I'm using Windows 10) but do require you move your mouse properly (so that a left-right swap doesn't end up being an up-down swap). Sounds obvious, but remember that you're working with rings!

The levels I reached in each of the 3 modes contained 5 rings each; I'm not sure if there are more further along in the game. Match-4 and Match-5 earn you power-ups (e.g. bombs) and consecutive matches of the same color earn you tools (e.g. power wands).

Try it! I found it made for a distracting change to the typical "tile"-swap M3 games. Show less
