This was a very cute little game that reminded me of a coin-operated arcade game. This was a very cute little game that reminded me of a coin-operated arcade game. The main task is to gather glowing will-o-wisp lights using lily pads at the forest pool in order to release fairies before time runs out. Between levels you get to build up new parts of a castle, and every few levels there is a different type of mini-game at a little village where you get to send the different fairies flying out to different homes to make the villagers happy.

The gameplay was simple, though the difficulty level increases as you make progress. It would have been nice if the background for the main levels changed a little more often. However there is really nothing to complain about here if you're just looking for a cute child-friendly game. The faery-tale graphics were great and the fairies were very cute. Show less

Good Fairies vs. Evil Witch

I typically enjoy many different types of games, but anything with Fairies and I'm usually "In". I also have enjoyed many of the Youda Games; especially Youda Sushi Chef, the first one, not #2. After reading some of the other reviews I wasn't quite sure if I was going to like this game, but I gave it a chance and I'm really glad that I did. I typically enjoy many different types of games, but anything with Fairies and I'm usually "In". I also have enjoyed many of the Youda Games; especially Youda Sushi Chef, the first one, not #2. It is one of my favorite games and I have replayed it so many times I can't even remember the number.

I honestly can't say there is an elaborate story that goes along with this game, but the Fairies themselves are Colorful & Cute and I really enjoy the little ponds where you must "hatch" them. As the game goes along you encounter more creatures that do everything they can to hamper your catching of the little colored sprites that turn into the Fairies. First, of course, you grapple with Frogs who want their lily pads back, moving onto larger Lizards, Toads, etc. Just so many obstacles and irritants that, despite what others have said, make finishing with the best time possible sometimes daunting. Luckily, you can go back and replay each level if you want to in order to better your time. Your main Foe throughout the game is an Evil Witch that wants to destroy the Villages & Villagers by starting Fires, locking up your Fairy Lanterns so the Fairies can't Escape to help the Villagers, etc. Just so many different things you don't know what she is going to do next. Of course, at the end of most levels you have money you get to spend on Upgrading the Town Castle. With each improvement, it has an effect on your Fairies to either help them or, luckily, make it harder for your Foes to interfere with their work.

I haven't yet completed the entire game, but I am having a heck of a lot of fun trying. Give Youda Fairy a chance. It's not really just a kid's game. You, too, might find it an Enchanting Surprise. Show less

This game is boring! The puzzle-like quality should have captured my attention, but didn't. I played most of the full hour hoping it would get better, but it remained childish and simplistic. The fairy theme fooled me, and I thought maybe they were trying something different , but true to "Youda" form, it insulted my intelligence.

I don't recommend this game.

I only got through about 10 minutes of the free trial, so the game might get better, but I doubt it. The artwork is pretty, if cutesy, but the level of gameplay is clearly designed for young children, not adults. Even for children, the game is simplistic.

I don't recommend this game.
