Ummm...so I tried this M3 game because I've found that sometimes really fun games have really....interesting "?" names. Not in this case! This would be more aimed at a younger player, in my opinion. The different "flutterbyes" are pretty and colorful, but there was not really a storyline or end goal that you really WANT to achieve! Ummm...so I tried this M3 game because I've found that sometimes really fun games have really....interesting "?" names. Not in this case! This would be more aimed at a younger player, in my opinion. The different "flutterbyes" are pretty and colorful, but there was not really a storyline or end goal that you really WANT to achieve! When you do make a match, a child's VO tells you in breathless encouraging tones that it's a "match!" or "combo!"......yaay! But that's not really encouraging or cute in this case and is more annoying! I couldn't tell you whether there are great power-ups or anything because I was so irritated after about 30 minutes that I didn't finish the trial time. This will not be a buy for me even as a DD or WD! Please, as always, do try it for yourselves or better yet, try it when you have children or grandchildren playing with you!! Show less

A Match FOUR game.

The graphics are cute. a game board made up completely of fluttering butterflies. You need to make a match 4 in order to make them disappear. If you make a match of more than 4 you get "multi-match" or "combo-match".

Endless Mode is exactly that - endless. I quit after I reached just over 1,000,000 points. That took about 20 minutes - maybe less. No bonuses or promised elusive rainbow butterfly ...Show more

Endless Mode is exactly that - endless. I quit after I reached just over 1,000,000 points. That took about 20 minutes - maybe less. No bonuses or promised elusive rainbow butterfly that would give me a surprise. There was, however, an annoying ladybug that showed up from time to time but I could never figure out what it's purpose was.

Survival Mode played much differently. First, there is a dandelion that counts down your time. You still have to make matches of 4 or more to destroy the butterflies - BUT, for every combo-match or multi-match you make, the dandelion regenerates a little bit. You can actually make a whole new dandelion several times over. I quit when I saved almost 500 butterflies and came in only 2nd to the Flutterbye game itself with less than 30,000 points. This mode is definitely "survival" in that you don't have time to plan and place your butterflies.

There is an error in the "help" section - the next butterfly you see on the branch is NOT your NEXT butterfly but the one in your "hand" at the time. Your NEXT butterfly is behind that one. It's a little disconcerting to have a butterfly "in hand" while playing.

All in all this was not a game for me -- too boring. However, I will recommend the free demo to everyone.

Very colorful graphics. Intended for children good, but unfortunately not for me. The movements make me nervous. Everything is in motion that disturbs. Unfortunate, as the idea is good.

There are two words that I can think of for this game mundane and boring for the gameplay and the repetitive music and no levels
