I decided to try out this game after playing the other interpol games (not sure if this is really related) but I did not expect it to be so different. It is basically an investigation game in which one must determine the identity of the killer by adding up all the clues gathered whilst searching about a dozen scenes for hidden objects but as the game boasts there are some 4000 combintions and I am prepared to accept that. Of course it is not so simple and although I was mostly correct in my investigations I did get it wrong once or twice and so failed.

After playing the 60-minute try-out I was hooked. This game reminded me of one of my favourite early childhood games from the 90's - 'where in the world is Carmen Sandiago?' only a hidden object adaptation. That itself was an interpol game but quite primitive. I will add that in some of the scenes there are a number of objects that at times can be almost frustrating to locate but not to the point of ruining the game and so presented a challenge.

It is a nice game to play from time to time as each investigation is a new experience and I have not yet seen all the characters as both vitcim and killer. Show less

I just got this game and it is very interesting and fun to play. Most objects are hard to find, and that adds to the interest. I also like playing the detective role. I think this is a very good game, with no devils, no haunting, no bloody ghouls or killer diseases. You also don't have to keep logs with instruments or tools to use later. You find hidden objects! To me, thats fun enough.

I recommend this game!

I really love this game. It's never boring ! There are so many possibilities, it's always different ! And it's always rewarding when you find the culprit and the weapon.

This is my first review. I am addicted to this game. There is so much replay because of all the suspects and all the victims. So many possibilities. Mainly hidden objects to find with no adventure which is my favorite type of HOG. In each case you have to figure who did the murder and with what weapon from the clues.

I recommend this game!

Others have commented on the difficulty in finding the hidden objects, but I thought those scenes were challenging and I only had to use the hint button three or four times in nine or ten scenes to solve the first case. There are also two hidden badges in each HOS and if you collect fifty of them, you unlock three ...Show more

There are also two hidden badges in each HOS and if you collect fifty of them, you unlock three additional levels in "Detective School."
The one hour trial expired just before I solved the first case and I immediately bought the game so I could identify the killer. If you don't mind having to look for hidden objects (and some of them ARE well hidden), give this game a try - you might find it very enjoyable. Show less

This is one of those games that really has no end. You can catch as many bad guys/gals as you want. A really good game to own for when you just want something short, about one hour. It's all divided by case, each is approx. 1 hr. I strongly suggest you get this game.

Also the hint seems to take forever to charge up. I resorted to doing a lot of random clicking, which actually seemed to get the job done in the end. Also the hint seems to take forever to charge up. I resorted to doing a lot of random clicking, which actually seemed to get the job done in the end. It's saving grace is in the ambient sound effects and graphics, which are a bit old school but still good, with little animation gems, which along with weather and other environmental elements, make the HOS feel very alive and atmospheric. That, along with the evocative character graphics make it worthwhile. The game play is good too, cluedo-esque but a little repetitive.You also get access to bonus gameplay by collecting at least 50 police badges, which are hidden throughout all scenes. This opens up the detective school, which to my shame, I haven't even looked at yet. Some reviewer I am. Show less
