I was hooked the first 5 mins into the game......I also have Murder Among Friends & this game is even better than it!.....I really enjoyed this game because we FINALLY got an almost strictly HO game.....This was a refreshing change from the dark & dreary games & the scenery was great....I heartily recommend this game & hope we get more like it.....Looking forward to the next one in this ...Show more

Big weekend sale and came across Mystery Chronicles: Betrayals of Love that I purchased 2012. Plays like an adventure game with a good amount of hidden object scenes.

If you love the older games as I do especially those created with mystery, beautifully rendered art, non-intrusive musical score, no hand-holding, this is a keeper for BFG gamers!

I was surprised that this game hasn't been reviewed more favorably. Try it for yourself and see! It has clever puzzles and challenging hidden object scenes. The hint button recharges quickly and offers pertinent game play hints. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who loves a good mystery!

After seeing the other reviews, I had to put my two cents in.
I'm not even through the game yet and I'm hooked.
Forget the bad reviews and try the demo.
I especially like that a balloon or person isn't always popping up and saying
'you did good' as if you're not an idiot just because you solved a
puzzle.

I recommend this game!

I played this one when it first out and I never leave a review before. For this I give 5 stars because I have fun 'til the end and good storyline just like the previous game. I hope the next sequel is really good (if there's more sequel). There's a lot HO so if you are like this kind genre or if you looking a game for spending your lazy time then try this one.

Lots of Hidden Object scenes - with some objects easily spotted and some very well hidden - so variety within each scene & hints re-charge quickly. Puzzles are mostly "find the clue" than true puzzles - but there are a few simple puzzles too.

Overall a well thought out, well done game. Show less
