I have a Spider's head for spider games. This latest version, SpiderMania Solitaire, is intriguing and beautiful to play. The graphics are easy on the eyes. The play is smooth and the cards move quickly from stack to stack. However, I continue to wait for someone to include a walk-thru or tutorial for Level 4 in Spider Solitaire. I am a loyal BF fan and will purchase SpiderMania. Thanks BFF!

The game is by Anuman/Solilab and consists of one type of solitaire game, spider solitaire. You have the choice of Easy, Normal, and Hard modes. I demo'd the Normal mode, which uses a black and a red suit of cards. There was a timer which counted down during the game, but once the time ran out, nothing happened; I was still able to continue the game. Perhaps the timer comes into play in the Hard ...Show more

There was no music playing during the game, just sound effects like the cards dealing and a horn sounding when you lost the game (I never won a game so I heard that a lot). The game shows a sparkle on a card when it can be played, if you don't immediately make a move, and it will highlight which cards are playable.

I liked the fact that the deck used looked like a deck of cards that has been well-worn from playing. I hate computer card games that have cards with precisely square edges, bright colors, and which don't resemble a real deck of cards. Having said that, though, there are no real bells and whistles in this game to set it apart from other spider solitaire games - there's no story hook, no theme hook, nothing. If you want to just play the game without any distractions, you might like this game.

The English used in the game is a bit convoluted; that should have been run by a native English-speaker before the game was sent out into the world.

I actually liked this game, but I don't know that I would buy it because I already have several versions of spider solitaire game in the various solitaire game collections I currently have on my computer. When you compare how the Fairway solitaire games took the tri-peak solitaire game and made it into something unique to this game, this one definitely comes up short. But if all you want is a spider solitaire game, you might like to give this one a try. Show less

The only thing I found about the game I didn't care for is that when you highlight the cards you want to move and then point where you want it to go, they don't go automatically, hopefully I explained correctly

I enjoy the simplicity of the graphics, but this game is either far too easy on "easy" level or impossible on medium.
I only bought it, as it was on offer, but wish I hadn't bothered. Think I had a absent-brain moment. Especially as you can get it free on your PC or on the internet.

I don't recommend this game.

This is a standard spider solitaire game. Doesn't every computer loaded with Windows come with a free version? I play this one quite often and the graphics are clearer. I also found playing this version that a message comes up to say that it is not possible to complete the game. Ignore it. I did and fininshed the last 2 games I played well before the time ran out. The graphics are poor. There was nothing "fun" about this. There was no pull or charm to make me spend any money or credits on it. If you want a card game from BF go for Fairway not this.

I don't recommend this game.

No ingenuity at all. Seriously, the pre-packaged version of spider solitaire that comes with Windows OS is a far better option this this one. Don't waste your time.
