I really like this mahjong game...the graphics are very easy to see and clear..the tile pictures are something you can focus on..the music is soft..this game has alot more to offer than most mahjong games..worth playing and fun..
as always give it a try..smiles

I am an older player, and am Always looking for games that are a pleasure to play. I am happy to have found this gem of a game, and for only $2.99. The graphics and layout are Very clear and crisp. Gameplay is responsive. The layouts are challenging enough, and the Power Ups make polishing off a level achievable. I never met a Mahjongg game I didn't like and this is no exception..I really loved this Mahjong game. The tiles are easy to see, you have jewels, coffee, or regular Chinese. I never had to use the extra tools. You know how you play a Mahjong board and get to the last match and find that they are on top of each other? Gorgeous graphics, colorful and crisp. Good sound.
You can choose from 3 backgrounds: jewel, china (classic) and coffee (delicious candies ...).
It has 12 chapters, each with 10 steps.
Besides the pieces, you also get pairs of scissors (cut two equal pieces), dynamite (explode 2 equal pieces), lightning bolt (shows 2 on the board) and magic wand (shuffles).

Visuals were nice, but it was far too easy to win. I never lost a game. This would be a good mahjong game for beginners. But, if you're looking for a challenge, I couldn't recommend this one.

I read the game description page and then played 9 of the 10 levels in the first area during the length of the hour-long free demo. While the graphics were amazing to look at, there was nothing that indicated a 3D background effect. I guess that was being saved for harder levels.

The tile sets never changed - always the same jewels - which made it kind of boring. The background music was also on a short loop which made it boring as well.

During game play, the scissors, dynamite and lightning bolt weren't really explained that well and if you got to a point where no more matches were available, the game reshuffled automatically. There was literally no way to lose a game. Which, again, made it boring. I like my mahjong games to be somewhat entertaining with a little challenge.

For these reasons this is not a buy for me. However, I do recommend that you try this imaginative game for yourself.

Theme music is easy to listen to but the one thing that really annoyed me is that at the end of each game you had to sit there while it listed all the points you had received then transferred all the points over to the total, line by line. I kept waiting for the game to get harder, but it never did. There's no way that you can lose any level. This would be a perfect game for a child, but then again, they'd probably get bored with it too!
